Demi's P.O.V

It switched off the tv just as another set of adverts came on, it was getting late anyway, I carefully picked Maddie up bridal style being careful not to wake her

I walked up the stairs and placed her in her bed, pulling the covers over her, I kissed her forehead and turned off the light leaving her door open a little but just incase

I went to go into my bedroom before stopping, does she want me to sleep with her yet? Well it is my bed she's in I suppose

I hesitantly went in "Everything okay babe?" she asked propping herself up on her elbows to look at me

"Y-yeah it's fine"

"Tell me what up D?"

"It's just I wasn't sure whether you want me to sleep with you or not, like I know we've been friends for ages but now we're more and I just don't kn-"

"Demi come here and stop talking" she chuckled pulling the covers away so I could get in

I climbed in beside her and she wrapped her arms around me, I snuggled into her enjoying the silence till she broke it "What happened with Mads?"

"I think we've got it all sorted or I hope we do anyway because she's coming back on tour with me and how fucking awkward would that be" I giggled, cuddling into her more

"Good, but I'm going to miss you" she pouted

"Well there's still a week so lets not focus on that"

"Mhm" she agreed tiredly her eyes were closed but I could tell she was trying to keep herself awake

"Let's got to sleep babe" I mumbled before drifting off into a peaceful sleep

I was awoke some hours later by a tearful Maddie "C-can I sleep with yous two please Dem" she begged, it broke my heart to see her cry

"Of course baby girl" I wriggled out of Mars grip and pulled back the covers letting her climb onto me before covering is back up and holding her close to me

"Bad dream?" I asked quietly

I felt her nod into me "What about?" I asked, one of my arms round her body the other on the back of her head

Everyone says they love my hugs and that they make them feel safe, I hope they make Maddie feel safe that's all I want

For her to feel safe and loved because shes my baby girl, I'd do anything for her.

I just had to rewrite this bc i wrote like 5 chapters on notes but now my phones away getting fixed bc I threw it in a river when I was drunk then dove in after it🙈
