Sammys P.O.V

"Sammy i'm in love with you"

I had no answer, i sat there staring at her dumbfounded and confused. My bestfriend has just told me she is in love with me, she technically still has a boyfriend, despite her feelings for him and she desn't even know im a lesbian,does she? Wait i thought she was straight?

"S-S-Sammy?" Maddie asked frmo beside me, i didn't even realise how long i had been sitting thinking for, letting it sink in.

"I-I-I um i don't know, i need to think this through" i managed to get out

Maddie's face crumbled and she got up and walked out wiping her tears, i decided it would be best to leave her and to think it through.

Do i even like Maddie like that?

Maddies P.O.V

The moment i told Sammy how i really felt, I instantly regretted it, why would i think that she would like me? Nobody likes me, heck not even my own sister likes me. When she said she wanted to think about it i felt so embarrassed, what was i even thinking? Samys straight, i though i was as well but obvisouly not

I got up from Sammys bed, tears poruing dwn my face, i stumbled down the stairs and out the front door, god knows where i'm planning on going, everyone hates me and i'm drunk as i possibily can be, how much better can it get?

II walked for about 10 minutes until i found myself at the side of the motorway, i sat down watching the traffic fly by, I hadn't checked my phone since i left Sammys, probably because i coulnd't if i wanted to but the drink was wearing off by now but i was bearely in control of myself

I had no missed calls or messges from Demi but tons from Marissa, ugh what the hell did she want?

"Hello" i heard Marrissa voice on the end of the line

"You called?" i asked my words coming out slurred

"MADDIE oh my god, where the fuck are you? Are you okay, I'm so sorry,Why do you sound drunk?" she asked me, relief and panick both in her voice

"I don't know where i am,some motor way, im fine and i might of a little bit to drink" i told her answering her questions

"What motorway, I'll come get you and we will talk about the drinking afterwards"

"No, i aint coming no where near either of yous, why should I? So i can get slapped again, for yous to beat me up just like everyone else did, no thanks" i replied coldly, my words not making 100% sense

"I promise i won't hit you Maddie, you don't even have to see Demi, i'll take you back to mine, you can't sleep on a motorway fr the night"

"fine, i'm on the m95, off the redhouse roundabout, don't bring Demi" i told her before hanging up

She arrived about 15 minutes later, she pulled over and i got in, the second i closed the car door, she embraced me into a hug

"I'm so sorry" she whispered in my ear before sitting in her seat properly and starting the car, i didn't say anything the whole way back to Marissas, i just sat with my head resting on the window thinking

"Maddie, we're here" Marissa told me snapping me out of my thoughts

I nodded before getting out the car, but i wasn't exactly sober and just fell to the ground, Marissa ran to me to help me up and put her arm around me to support me till we got into the house

"Okay, we need to talk but i think we're better waiting for you to sober up, so you now where your room is,i'll give you a hand up the stairs but you are not getting out of talking tomorrow and you will have to talk to Demi eventually" she told me as she guided me upstairs

I just giggled as i clung onto Marissa, she helped me change into a pair of joggies andd a vest top and into bed before leaving the room.

I was so going to regret everything in the morning
