Chapter 34

Demi's P.O.V

"Dem?"

"Mhm?" I asked, we had been lying on the bed with my head on her chest for the last half hour

"As much as I'm loving this, you need to get your ass down there and sort out everything with Mads" she told me gently rubbing circles on my hand with her thumb

"But she hates me and Dallas won't let me" I told her sadly, burying my head into her chest not wanting to start crying again

"How about I talk to Dallas?"

"Would you? please I'd do anything" I pleaded

"I'll take you up on that offer later" she said winking before getting up off the bed and setting my head on the pillow instead

I lay in the same position for 5 minutes playing with the corner of the pillow case letting my thoughts start to get the best of me before Marissa came back in

She sat down beside me and rubbed my back "Go talk to her Dems"

I hesitantly walked into the livin room when Maddie was sitting on the sofa watching the TV

"Maddie we need to talk" I said shakily cursing myself for letting me seem weak even thought the tear tracks on my face were probably still visible

She sighed but reluctantly agreed turning the TV off

"I get you hate me okay and you have every right to but I want you to know I'm sorry, I'm not even asking you to forgive me but just know I'm sorry" I spilled out, wiping the tears that had fallen

I went to stand up but Maddies arm wrapped around my waist stopping me in my tracks

I turned back round and scooped her up in my arms hugging the life out of her

She pulled back from the hug and I reluctantly let her, I went to wipe away the tears that were freely falling down her face and she flinched back immediately which filled me with guilt

"I'll never ever hurt you again I promise"

"Promises are only made to be broken" she mumbled sadly

It's short and shit I know but I'm really not in the right mind set to be writing and I just broke my 5 months clean but I felt like yous deserved it
