(Y/N)'s POV

We left the park after thirty minutes more or so. I drove him home.

"Thanks for dropping me off."

"Of course, no problem you helped me out earlier at school."

"Soo, are you going to walk me to the door after our date?" He held out his hand and the other was on his face.

"Oh my god, Laurence. You're kidding right."

"Nope."

I rolled my eyes while smiling.
"Fine, I'll walk you to your door."

We both got out and I walked him to his front door.

"Oh (Y/N)! You're so funny!" He said in a higher-pitched voice than his usual.

"I didn't say anything?"

"I know but this is how girls act in the movies and stuff."

"This isn't a movie Laurence!" I giggled.

"Hey no! You're supposed to make me laugh not the other way around!"

He was smiling as he said that 'upset'. I was also smiling.

We both looked at each other, I started to blush.

"I should probably get going now! We have school tomorrow and I haven't eaten dinner or-"

"You can have dinner with us, I'm sure my family wouldn't mind."

"I should probably call my mom and tell her then."

"We'll wait for you inside."

He went inside and I heard him calling for his mom, asking if I could stay for dinner. I took my phone out and I called my mom.

"(Y/N)? Where are you dear? Are you coming home now?"

"Hi, Mom! I'm at Laurence's house, he insisted I stay for dinner."

"That's fine sweetie, just make sure you come home after Okay?"

"Okay mom, love you."

"Love you too dear."

I hanged up and knocked on the door. Laurence opened it.

"My Mom is fine with you staying, is your mom okay with you staying for dinner?"

"Yeah, she said it's fine."

He put his hand out. I gave him mine and he took me inside.

"Laurence! You finally brought a girl home!!"

"Oh haha very funny Cadenza, how about you stop bringing guys home."

"H-hey!"

I stayed quiet but I was trying not to laugh. I know how it is fighting with siblings.

"Ah (Y/N)! I thought my little Laurence brought home some girl we didn't know! I'm glad it's you! How long have you two been dating?"

Laurence and I started to blush, we let go of each other's hands also.

"N-no I'm sorry Mrs.Zvahl, Laurence and I are just friends.!"

"Y-yeah Mom don't get the wrong idea."

She smiled.

"That's not what it looked like but I'm sorry for assuming, but please don't blame me! You two have been close since you two were little!"

"We have?"

"Well of course, but you two wouldn't be able to remember now. I'm sure I have some pictures somewhere! Cadenza please get the table ready while I look for the pictures!"

"Oh um I can help too Cad."

"Thanks! What a gentleman Laurence letting your date set the table."

"Shut up!"

I blushed but helped out anyways.

Mrs.Zvahl came back with a photo album. Oh great.

"Thank you for helping, after dinner, we can look at the pictures! There's a really cute one of you two!"

Laurence started whining and I smiled.

We sat down for dinner, Laurence's dad joined us, Mr.Zvahl and the teasing seemed to have gotten worse. At one point Laurence had to leave to go to the restroom.

"So Laurence, why don't you invite (Y/N) to our plans on Saturday?"

I seemed interested, what plans?

Laurence turned to look at me, he had a small blush.

"W-we're going to the beach, and uh we would like it if you could join us."

I smiled.
"Sure I don't have any plans, but I don't think Garroth would let me go alone."

"He can come with.!"

Cadenza spoke up. Don't tell me she's also crushing on my brother.

"Sounds like a plan then! Thank you for joining us sweetie, we have no problem with Garroth joining us as well."

"Thank you for the invitation!"
I smiled.

After dinner we all helped clean up, I had gotten a message.

|Are you coming home soon dear? You need to shower and get ready for school tomorrow.

|Yea mom I'm saying goodbye now.

"I have to get going now, my mother is waiting for me."

"Oh alright, dear! Laurence see her to the door would you?"

"It was a pleasure having you over (Y/N), you can join us anytime."

"Thank you Mr. and Mrs.Zvahl! Goodbye! Bye Cadenza!"

"Bye (N/N)!"

Laurence walked me outside, he closed the door behind him.

"Thanks for today Laurence, it really helped me."

He hugged me out of nowhere, I didn't move for a few seconds but then I hugged back. I felt my cheeks go warm.

"I'm here for you (Y/N) if you ever need anything."

"Thank you."

We kept hugging until we both pulled back. He put one of his hands on my cheek, this wasn't helping my blush. He leaned in and kissed my forehead.

"Take care okay? I'll see you tomorrow at school."

He pulled back and he smiled, he also had a blush. I nodded kinda dumbfounded.

"Y-yeah, Bye Laurence."

I gave him a smile before walking towards my car.

"Bye (N/N)."

I heard him say before I got into my car. I started it up and drove off to my house. I had the radio turned on and a song came on, once it was done a verse was stuck in my head,

'And never did I think that I
Would be caught in the way you got me
But girls love girls and boys
And love is not a choice'

I smiled.
"Love is not a choice.."
