I shook my head free of thoughts and returned back to my academy room.
Without even showering, I collapsed on the bed and snored my head off.

••••
The speaker rang and Dr. Cory came on.
"Good morning my loveli—oof."

"YO WAKEUP YOU MORONS. GET YOUR ASS BACK IN SHAPE. YOU THINK WE PLAYIN? HURRY HURRY HURRY. YOU GOT TEN MINUTES TO GET TO THE BATTLE ROOM. LAST ONE HAS TO DO 400 PUSHUPS NOW GO GO GO YOU LAZY BUMS." Agent 2 blasted through the speakers.

Ugh.
I groaned and slammed the pillow on my face. How could I forget about this daily routine?

I looked at the time.
4am in the morning.

WHAT THE FUCK?

How are we expected to train at 4 in the morning? Has it always been like this?
It's probably even still dark outside.
These ruthless bastards...

The speaker rang again.
"5 MINUTES LEFT."

I groaned again.
I swear they're purposely making the time go by faster.

"Damn agents...damn this...why did I get chosen." I murmured, shuffling my feet to the door.

No need to change. I sleep, eat, fight and breathe in these uniforms.

"Morning Ray." Ena said, rubbing her eyes.
She came out of her room the same time as me.

"Morning." I replied, yawning.
I feel like everyone is extremely dead.

I sighed. "Let's get goin—"

Bzt.

Wait what?
She suddenly disappeared and I shook my head to see if I was seeing things.

How did she...? "Oh...right. Teleportation."
The perks of having magic abilities.

I used my lightning speed to go to the battle room.
As expected, most people were already there....sleeping.

Agent 2 stomped his foot, clanging pots and pans together. "WAKE UPPPPPP. WAKE UPPPPPPPPPP." He sang.

Someone threw a shoe at him.

"YOU LITTLE BRAT. YOU WANNA FIGHT? LET'S GO."

Dr. Cory cleared her voice and used telekinesis to blast Agent 2 against the wall.
"That's enough now."

My jaw dropped open.
These people...do I really know them?
All the agents are practically immature...

"STEWARD POO!" I heard a voice shout.
I don't even need to see him to know who he is.

"Agent 3." I sighed, turning around.

He had a smirk on his face.
"Really...how many times do I have to tell you not to call me that? It's so irritating."

Agent 6 popped out by Agent 3's side.
"Hey kid. Want a granola bar?" Agent 3 whispered.

I gave him a blank stare, and snatched it from him, shoving half of it in my mouth.
"Thanks."

He gasped.
"Amazing."

What.

"Oh right! I forgot to show you something."
Agent 6 pulled out a phone.
"This...is called a cellphone." He showed a gummy smile.
