The groans of the Eccentric Kings were more clear now.
I touched my face to make sure my mask was still there.
Sure enough, I felt the leather.
"Yo Ray—" Some voice stared to say.

I wrapped my hands around his mouth.
I ain't about to blow my cover away.
"Yo Steward." He said instead. It was Jason, the speedy guy.
I shrugged.
Everyone in the academy basically knows my old name now.
Goddamn Agent 3 said it way too much.
"You're finally here."
I gave everyone a nod as I stood in front of them.
Those group of Eccentric whatever were stronger than I expected.
The whole herd of them rubbed their faces and blinked repeatedly. Wow, can't believe they survived that blinding spell.
I noticed they had a mask on, and only their eyes were shown.
They're obviously smarter than us.
These classmate idiots didn't even bother to hide their identities.
"Leave now before you all get injured." I spoke up.
Some of them started bursting into wheezing cries of laughter.
"You're one to speak, little boy."
I rolled my eyes.
"Did you just assume my gender?"
Their faces was covered but I could tell that they didn't know what to say.
"You're a woman?"
Oh geez these idiots.
"Yes sure I'm 100% a woman."
I heard some gasps.
Seriously these people are more intrigued about my gender than the actual fight.
"Can we like get back to the topic now?" I asked, annoyed.
I'm starting to doubt my gender now.
"Whatever... you little girl. We're here to compromise with you." An elderly male voice spoke.
"Wow what bullshit. You guys were fighting when I arrived."
They stayed silent for a little bit for the second time.
I didn't even bother to correct them on me actually being a guy.
Everything started to happen in slow motion again, as I saw bullets firing.
They already attacked?

My hands flew up, and in about a second, a lightning barrier stretched around the academy students and agents.
The bullets sizzled and dropped to the ground with a thud.
Everyone looked around in confusion.
"What just happened?"
"You guys almost died." I muttered.
One person stepped forward from the pack of Eccentric Kings.
"Not bad...so it was true that you all have extraordinary power."
What?
I narrowed my eyes, and felt my forehead wrinkle. Were they trying to test us or something?
"What exactly are you trying to do here? Attacking us unexpectedly out of nowhere...what do you want with us?" Dr. Cory asked.
They chuckled. "We were informed that there were weird humans who had the capability of interfering with our plan. So we need to get rid of you all."
