I See A Man

I see a man

In the corner of my eye

He's always standing still

Or moving oh so slow

The man is my father

Staring me down

I'm the flesh

That he thirsts for

The fresh skin of a young girl

That was created by him

Now damaged by scars

The fresh skin

His hands wondered

On her body

For it was not his wonderland

To wander on

His curiosity got the best of him

And left his only daughter

With scars

That are deeper than

You can ever imagine

Her mind

Damaged for life

Him?

Twenty five years in prison

For taking advantage

Of a little girls innocence

The innocents of her mind

Is gone

She realized years later

What had happened to her

She found out as if re reading a chapter

She made her body

Into the white canvas she would paint on

And only used red paint on it

I see a man

In the corner of my eye

Today

Watching me

And killing my mind still

I see a man

In the corner of my eye

Who watches me

And broke my mind so badly

To where the memories replay everyday

I see a man

In the corner of my eye

Who haunts me

Who haunts me

Who watches me

Who is my father

That had taken something from me

That I can't regain

I see a familiar man

In the corner of my mind

Who will be there

Until the day I die
