The pillow and sheets blanketed my body with comfort I have never felt before. The large body sleeping beside me acted as the necessary heater. It was the most peaceful night and I didn't want it to come to an end.

Pressing my head into the pillow, I extended my arm out to feel him but the bed was empty. I slowly opened my eyes, having no one laying beside me in the bed. It was an odd feeling considering I'm usually the one up before Justin.

I stayed staring at the ceiling for a while until the bedroom door opened. Justin entered the room and with him came the scent of breakfast. Then I remembered our conversation from last night. I turned away from him, not wanting him to see my smile and the impact his body has on me.

"Hi baby, how was your sleep?" Justin got back into bed. He trampled my face with kisses that wouldn't end. His love language is physical touch and I think I love it. "As promised, breakfast awaits downstairs.

"How do I know you made it and didn't pay anyone?" I couldn't believe the question was leaving my lips but I had to ask.

"I guess you'll never know," he teased, throwing the blankets from my body.

"I'll change and get ready then I'll eat," I got out of bed and went to the bathroom. I tried shutting the door before he could enter but he was faster than me and stronger. "Why are you following me?" I laughed when he pulled his toothbrush out to also get ready.

"I want to get ready with you," he stood behind me and to rub my stomach. He was acting like I was going to run away or something, but I couldn't help but find it cute.

Even though I never wake up later than him and am always gone by the time he's awake, a lot of my things were still here. Like my toothbrush, skincare routine, a few hair products and even a few clothes in his drawer.

"My hair is a mess. I need to remember to bring a bonnet next time," I muttered to myself with my toothbrush in my mouth. While observing my hair in the mirror, I noticed his staring in fascination.

We continued to get ready together and it was a nice change. It was a different type of intimacy I didn't know I needed. When I had changed into clothes, I went downstairs to the breakfast he prepared. Justin doesn't impress me often. But I was definitely impressed with all the food he had made. And it was all for me.

"Thank you, baby," I went on my toes to kiss him. I couldn't help but be grateful for him and his kindness.

"Did you just call me baby?" He squeezed onto me tight. I rolled my eyes. Endearments have never been my thing, but I know Justin enjoys them and it seems like the least I can do.

"You just ruined the moment. I hope you're happy," I pulled away and allowed him to continue setting the table. I sat beside him on a bar stool then dug into my food. It was surprisingly good. I held his arm, placing a kiss on it to say thank you.

"I wanna do something with you today," he took my plate to put in the sink. Spending the day with him would be nice, but my guilt wouldn't stop eating me alive if I didn't go back to the hospital.

"I'm think I'm gonna just stay with my mom today. She needs me right now," I responded, watching to see his reaction. He rolled his eyes, showing distaste in my decision. My eyes widened.

"You mean the same mother who neglects you?" He said and I leaned back in shock. Every time the topic of my family comes up, he listens to me and seems understanding. I never would have assumed this entire time he was judging me. My walls were slowly being rebuilt, and they took a long time for him to break them down.
