We were in my apartment. "Do you mind if I recorded this Mrs. Reed?" The journalist asked.
"Go ahead. It's not like the rest of y'all haven't." I said in a flat voice.
He clicked the record on his phone.
"So will you tell us your name." He said.
"My name is Zari Reed." I said.
He nodded.
"So you survived the." He paused looking for the right words.
"The zombie appoclypse." I said.
"Yeah that. How did you manage?" He asked.
"Well I wasn't the only one who survived but here's how the story goes." I took a shaky breath. "Well it all started-"
