You closed the book and sighed heavily, you glanced out of the window and saw Levi, Hanji and Erwin talking to one another. Erwin caught you looking and waved, you timidly smiled. You couldn't lift your limbs because your bones were broken.

You leaned on the wall and glanced at your bandaged body. Your entire body had bandages, on the cheek, nose, head, arms, legs, stomach, neck, everywhere.

All because of what happened a month ago.

You see, while you were helping a little boy who had his foot stuck under a pile of rocks, you didn't notice the titan, about 13 meters, approaching behind you. It intended to snatch you and eat you but it wasn't able to grasp you, making you fly yards away, only to crash in glass and stone.

Oh, don't worry, the boy was fine.

But you weren't.

Everybody considered it as a miracle to see you alive, even after the incident. You broke 3 rib bones, your arm and leg bones. You got a concussion, internal bleeding (that had stopped, thanks to surgery) and cuts here and there.

You were completely useless since the past month, you were doing nothing but read and stay in Erwin's room everyday (you shared a room with Erwin, deal with it). Since you couldn't take care of yourself, Erwin had always been taking care of you. Whether it's to feed you or keep you company, he's too bashful to change your clothes or give you a bath, but you shrugged him off.

You closed your eyes and loneliness began enveloping your body. You wanted nothing but company right now, you sighed once again.

Luckily, the door opened and Erwin appeared, you flicked your eyes open. You smiled happily and thanked God.

"How are you doing, (y/n)? I see you can sit up on your own now." Erwin greeted, he sat on the stool next to your bed.

"Yeah, though, I'm still useless as of now. I can't wait to get out of these bandages and this bed and go out and slaughter some titans!" You grinned, Erwin chuckled as he gently pet your head. You blushed at the sudden contact but you began purring like a cat.

"How many times have you read this book already?" Erwin asked as he picked up the book that was on your lap.

"About... 5 times. I can't get a new one." you pouted, Erwin stood up and went to the book shelf, he placed the book you read back to its original place.

"Would you prefer romantic tragedy or fantasy gore?" Erwin asked.

"Where did you even get those books?" You laughed, Erwin scratched the back of his neck and nervously laughed.

".....I uh.... got them from.... Levi." Erwin replied.

"BWAHAHAHA-ah! o-ouch... ouch." you winced, Erwin ran up to you in concern. You apologized again and again, Erwin sighed and face palmed.

"Please, (y/n). Take it easy, or your wounds will never heal." Erwin groaned. You apologized again and told Erwin to come closer to you.

"Okay, okay. But promise me that you'll be the one to take care of me?" you asked sweetly as you gave your best puppy eyes. Erwin laughed and gently planted a kiss on top of your head.

"Yeah, I promise."
