"I'm not gonna lie, I'm very pissed I can't go play in the snow." I say, huffing as I sit down on the couch next to the window. I focus on trying not to wince as the movement causes a shock of pain to roll through my body, because I don't want to alarm Josh. Josh chuckles from the kitchen, and I know he is shaking his head at me. I came home from the hospital a few days ago, and Isabella reminded me multiple times to take it easy, as if she knew I wouldn't. But she even told Josh, Tyler, Jenna, AND my mom. So even if I wanted to do anything, they won't let me.

Josh brings me a mug of hot coco, and sits down gently next to me, wrapping his arm around my shoulder. Leaning my head against his chest, I let out a small sigh. It's good to have Josh back, even if only for a couple of days. Him being on tour is a struggle, and it's been taking its toll on the both of us.

"You'll be able to play in the snow soon, Babe. Right now you have to rest up." Josh kisses the top of my head, and begins softly massaging my shoulder, careful not to disturb the bandages wrapped around my chest. I take a sip of my hot chocolate, smiling at the enormous amount of marshmallows Josh put in. He always has treated me so nicely.

"When do you go back on tour..?" I ask quietly, staring deeply into my cup. I don't want to look into his eyes, because whenever I bring up this topic, he looks as if he is being crushed.

"A little bit after Valentine's Day. Production managers were kind enough to move shows around to try to give us as much time as possible to help you settle and all." He clears his throat, obviously not wanting to talk about the topic. Valentine's Day is coming up very soon: 4 days to be exact. So that means my support will be leaving me very, very shortly. Sooner than I think I can handle. I smile up at him and close my eyes.

"Oh, that's so nice of them. I'll make sure to say thank you." I try not to let the panic show, I can't let it show. He has to believe that I'll be ok, I have to believe that I'll be ok without him. He had to of sense the sudden change in mood, because he decided to switch topics.

"Hey, what do you say that later, we go out and start looking at wedding things? Maybe that can brighten your mood a bit." Josh smiles down at me, and it crinkles his eyes as I start to nod excitedly. "You just have to promise you'll take it easy, okay?"

"Always."

"Lemon cake is a no go." Josh squints his face as he puts the plate down. Tyler and Jenna, who tagged along, let out a laugh. Smirking, I take a bite of the cake I'm holding. Josh watches with amusement as I look around for a napkin so I can spit it out.

"Carrot cake is death." I say as soon as I get the taste out of my mouth. Tyler nods while Jenna continues to eat the strawberry cake with delicate flower icing on top.

"This one is pretty good." We all try it, with all of us expressing content expressions. I watch Josh out of the corner of my eye to see his exact expression. Despite his sign of approval, its obvious he doesn't like this cake as much as the chocolate one he tried as soon as we got here.

"It's good. But I really think we are gonna go with the chocolate cake." I announce, putting my plate down. Josh's eyes twinkle, and he grins, nodding along with me. Jenna and Tyler smile, agreeing.

"I say we need real food now that we've been eating nothing but sweets." Tyler says, rubbing his stomach. Josh quickly agrees, never wanting to deny the chance for food.

While Tyler and Josh are up at the counter ordering food, I've been demanded to go and sit down at a booth with Jenna. She sits next to me, holding my hand gently in hers while playing with my engagement ring.

"So what made you move the wedding to May 21, instead of September?" Jenna asks after a few seconds of silence. I lean back into the cushion of the booth, relaxing my head. I feel a sad smile make its way on to my face. Tilting my head, I stare into Jenna's eyes.

"I was scared that if I didn't move it up, I wouldn't get the chance to marry him. It would be horrible if I die without getting the chance to marry the man I love." As I say this, Jenna looks at me completely in shock. I see tears spring up on her eyes, and it kills me. I probably shouldn't have been so blunt, but she deserved to know the whole truth, not some quick lie.

"I'm sorry, Jen-" I try to speak, but she quickly shuts me up with a strong glare.

"You're not going to die, so shut the hell up." Now it's my turn to be shocked at the ice in her voice. "Not today, not tomorrow, not until you're old, grey, and wrinkly. Josh will do anything he can to make sure you get the best doctor in the world. We all will stop at nothing to make sure you're okay. So you have to think positive thoughts. Once you start thinking negatively like that, then all that we are doing will go to waste."

Seeing a few tears make their way down her face, I can't help but feel mine do the same. I smile at her and nod, promising to myself to think better, promising to continue to give it my all. She quickly but gently wraps her arms around me, and I wrap my right arm around her, not wanting to disturb the left side of my body, where the bandages are tight.

"Je- oh shoot a cry fest. Uh, Josh, let's go get the drinks!" Tyler makes his way to the table, but is quickly distraught at the sight of us crying. He places the trays of food on the table and yanks Josh's arm to the drink machine. Little did they notice, that they left the cups on the table.

I watch, still hugging Jenna, as a crouching Josh slowly sneaks back to the table and reaches over to grab the cups. When we lock eyes, he flashes me a wink and a smile, before dashing back to a flustered Tyler.
