"Won't you say goodnight, so I can say goodbye." I hum, as we all walk to the hotel rooms. Tyler and Jenna are ahead of Josh and I. Jenna is leaning on his shoulder, hands holding onto his arm.
"You got a pretty voice." Josh says, yawning. I smile and look up at him.
"You're just sleepy." I say, shaking my head at him.
"Yeah. And your voice is so pretty it sounds like a lullaby. Sing me to sleep." He leans against me, closing his eyes. I nudge him off of me.
"Maybe one day I will." I whisper softly, hoping he doesn't hear. But he does, and he looks down at me, a sparkle in his eye.
"Hey, guys. Got some news. May be bad or good." Tyler says, stopping in front of us. "They couldn't book another room. And since it was your idea, they decided that since you're rooming alone, she will be staying with you." Jenna raises her eyebrows at me, to which I ignore.
Josh shrugs. "Cool." I can't help but smirk and shake my head at him. "I don't mind as long as she doesn't."

We have finally made it to our room, and I swear Josh has been sleepwalking for the last five minutes, he keeps walking back and forth to the fridge, T.V., mirror.
"Josh, go to bed, omg." I mutter, covering my face with my hands. I've been laying in bed since we got here, but he is making too much noise.
"Am I bothering you?" Josh is now kneeling beside the bed, his face inches from mine. I jump back, frightened. So he can be quite coming closer, but not while walking?!
"N-no. You just need sleep." I whisper, my heart still beating out of my chest.
"I can't. You should sing to me." He says, crawling into my bed. He sprawls out across my sheets, his head resting in my lap. I sit up, blush covering my face. Thank god the only light on is the lamp from his bed.
"Any requests?" I slowly pull off his hat, throwing it on his bed. He has a small smile on his face as I start running my hands through his hair. It's softer than I ever would've imagined. He relaxes, his body sinking deeper into the bed.
"Anathema. You were singing it earlier." His voice is low and deep, deeper than it's been all night. I smile to myself, happy to know that he actually was listening to me.
"Ok. Try sleeping, yeah? You deserve it." I continue playing with his hair as I start singing, thanking God that my mother made me take singing lessons when I was younger.
"You will never know what's behind my skull.." I sing softly, humming the tune at times when there's supposed to be a pause.
"Won't you go to someone else's dreams. Won't you go to someone else's head. Haven't you taken enough from me? Won't you torture someone else's sleep." I hear his breathing become slower, much more calmer than it was seconds before. He is sleeping so peacefully. He has to be the cutest sleeper I've ever seen.
"Am I screaming to an empty sky? Empty sky, no way, that's me 'cause one half of my heart is free. Empty sky, no way, that's me 'cause the other half of my heart's asleep." I finish singing. I had softly rapped the ending, careful to keep a steady beat so I didn't wake Josh.
He was asleep, giving soft little snores. Leaning back, I rest my head against the wall. Looks like I'll be sleeping like this, but I'm not complaining. As long as Josh sleeps comfortably, that's all I could ask for. He has helped me so much.
I close my eyes, drifting off to sleep.
