Hide And Seek ~ Josh Dun

Chapter 30

"Why is there a dog in my room, Josh." Tyler walks into the room holding a dog that looked like a mix of beagle and cocker spaniel, wagging its tail like crazy. Josh's face falls as he see it, taking it from Tyler.

"It's was Abby's gift for later, you turd." Tyler looks so guilty, as Josh looks like he has just been punched in the gut. I keep on looking from the boys, to the dog who is trying to climb over Josh's shoulder. I couldn't help it anymore.

"A DOG. OH MY GOD GIMME!" I scream so loud, jumping up and down until Josh hands him over to me. The dog licks the hell out of my face, wiggling in my arms like crazy. I honestly don't know who is more excited, me or him.

"Happy birthday, Baby Girl." Josh says, kissing my forehead. I just grin up at him and squeal. He actually got me a dog! "He will be allowed on the tour bus, we will just need a spot for him to do his business."

"How did you do it, Man." Tyler shakes his head at us, shocked. "They absolutely refused to let Jenna bring any pets on tour."  Josh smirks, and shakes his head at Tyler, who huffs and walks away with sass.

"What do you want to name him, Abs." Josh asks, laying on the bed. I am sitting on the floor, playing with the dog. Watching him attack my foot, I smile, having come up with the most perfect name.

"Lil Dun." Josh dies laughing, the smile never leaving his face.

"That's perfect. I love it." I grin up at Josh, scooping Lil Dun in my arms and putting him on Josh's tummy.

"I have to go get ready. Keep him occupied." I say, kissing them both on the nose.

"Will do, babe." Josh says , making Lil Dun wave goodbye.

"I was talking to Lil Dun."

"He will be watched by Mark tonight. You, Tyler, Jenna and I are going out tonight, is that ok?" Josh says, tying his tie. He has dressed up in a white button up with some black jeans. His hair looks as fluffy as ever. I nod, and finish my makeup.

I am wearing a tight black dress. It shows my complete back, and goes down to about mid thigh. I am also wearing black wedges to go along with it. My hair is up in a ponytail with the ends curled. Josh keeps putting his fingers around the curls and twirling them, a small smile on his face whenever he does so.

"God, you look beautiful." He says, placing his hands on my hips and kissing my shoulder. I just smile and put on my earrings.

"You look incredibly handsome. Are you ready to go?" He nods and takes my hand, leading me to the door. As he opens it, we find Jenna and Tyler standing there, Tyler looking down and holding his hands behind is back.

"I'm sorry for ruining the surprise earlier... So, I got you something!" Tyler says, holding his hands in front of him now. It's a blanket with the lyrics from Truce, in Josh's hand writing. "Josh always scribbles down these lyrics on random pieces of paper, so I found one and took it to the shop and had it made! Happy birthday! I'm sorry, Jishawa."

Josh grins and just pulls his best friend into a tight hug, whispering a thanks. I had taken the blanket and was rubbing it, it felt like how you imagined a cloud would feel. I hug Jenna first, telling her thank you. And then I go to Tyler, who smiles.

"I'm really sorry I ruined your surprise." He says looking sad. I shake my head and pulled away.

"You didn't ruin it. You gave me that chance to get it earlier! So thank you. The blanket is beautiful." He grins, and grabs Jenna's hand. Together, we all walk down the hall chatting amongst ourselves.

"LIL DUN STOP." Marks voice rings throughout the hall, echoing. We all look back and see the little puppy running at me, tongue hanging out. I bend down and scoop him up as Mark makes it over, out of breath.

"I opened the door because someone was knocking and he just ran." Mark said, taking the dog after I kissed it. "Have a goodnight guys." Still out of breath, he walks away, mumbling under his breath about Lil Dun.

"Those two are getting along so well."
