CONTEST WILL END ON AUGUST 6TH!
"Josh, you've left flipping puddles on the carpet." I exclaim, ruining yet another sock as I stepped into a wet spot on the floor. He grins from the side of the room as he shakes his hair, imitating Lil Dun. I woke up this morning to Josh screaming in the shower. All I could hear was "Lil Dun NOOOOOOO. Get out!"
"My bad. Lil Dun was acting like a mad man in the bathroom. Now I know to make sure the bathroom is closed before taking a shower." He smiles cheekily before sliding a shirt over his head. I watch as it sort of sticks to his still damp body, and mentally roll my eyes.
"You're silly." I pull yet another sock out of my drawer and walk to the bed to put it on. Josh makes his way over to me and gently places a kiss on my forehead, rubbing my shoulder gently. I've been extremely stressed about today. I really do not want to go back to the doctors at all.
"I really hope this is water and not piss." Jenna's voice comes from down the hall, followed by Tyler's laughter.

"One, two, three, four. One, two, three, four." Josh counts as I pace back and forth in the room as an attempt to calm me down. We've been here for about half an hour, and so far we've seen the doctor once. She had came in and took off all of the cords and machine off of me.
Walking back over to the table, Josh immediately wraps his arms around my thighs. In a continuous pattern, he squeezes my thighs. Certain things he does calms us both down, which relieves tension.
"Are you excited to go to the beach?" Josh asks, looking up at me. I nod, a soft smile on my face as I think about the ocean. "We are going to play games on the boardwalk? Cause I will win you all of the stuffed animals you want."
"What makes you think you will win against me? Cause you better believe that we will be going head to head on all of those games." Josh raises his eyebrows, and pulls away from me slightly.
"Abby, have you seen these guns?" He flexed his muscles, a smirk on his face. I burst out laughing, and seconds later he starts tickling me. "When a guy shows you show muscles you're not supposed to laugh at them." He tries to sound offended, but he has the hugest from on his face.
"Abby-Lynn?" The doctor, Isabella, comes in, and Josh moves to be beside me. Regaining my breath, I grab his hand. "How are you feeling today?"
"Pretty good." My throat feels dry, like I've been dehydrated for months. I try clearing my throat, to see if it would help, but it does nothing. I look at Josh, and I see he is already uncapping a water bottle for me. While Isabella is looking at notes on her clipboard, I slowly take sips.
"So, you had one of those episodes happen the other day, yeah?" I nod, feeling embarrassed for some reason. "Well, we are going to check those records on the machine we took off of you, ok? And we are still waiting for the rest of the results to come back. Now, we don't know what it is for sure yet, but we have some insights on what it could be, ok? I can tell you if you want, but it's not necessary if you do not want to know yet."
Isabella looks at me, with some type of sadness in her eyes. Seeing her look so defeated at me, causes my breath to lock up in my chest. What if it's terrible news? Josh senses my panic, and immediately starts to rub soft circles into my back.
"I don't think I want to know what it may be... That might just make things worse for me." I see Josh nod out of the corner of his eye, a solemn look on his face.
"Ok. Well, we will need you to take it sort of easy for the next couple of days. We should have the information back within a week. When we get it, we will call you set up an appointment to discuss things further, ok?" Isabella puts down her clipboard and looks at me. "No matter what it is, we will make sure you're ok. I'm really glad you did decide to come in and get this checked out. You have wonderful friends and family, Abby-Lynn." She looks at Josh and smiles.
After saying her goodbyes, she grabs her stuff and leaves the room. Josh stands up and rubs his face, facing away from me. When he turns around, he has a grin plastered on his face. Reaching his hand out to me, he helps me stand up.
"Come on. Let's go get some coffee or something on our way to the beach."
