"Was it as bad as you thought it would be?" Jenna asks, picking up a grape and tossing it in her mouth. I peek over at the sink, watching Josh help his mother do the dishes. Smiling, I grab a grape and toss it in the air, to which Jenna happily catches in her mouth.
"Nah, not as bad I guess. Josh was a great help, he made me feel comfortable, you know?" Jenna nods, smiling softly. Ever since Josh and I got home, Jenna hasn't left my side. "Where's Tyler? He disappeared after dinner."
"Oh, yeah. He went out to get something." Jenna shrugs it off, and before I can question her more, Josh's voice rings throughout the kitchen.
"Oh my god, Mom!" His face is completely red, and his mouth gaping open, while his eyes look as if they're about to explode out of their sockets. Momma Dun is holding her hands up in surrender, laughing her ass off. Jenna and I raise our eyebrows at each other and tune in to their conversation.
"What? You can't blame me! You guys have slept in the same bed for a while! I just wanted to know." As soon as she stops talking, I'm pretty sure my face is as red as Josh's. Jenna bursts out laughing, clutching onto her stomach.
"I'm baaaaa- why do they look like tomatoes." Tylers voice sounds through the room. Looking over at him, he has placed a couple of bags on the counter and has his hand propped on his hip. Jenna leans in and whispers into his ear, probably because she is out of breath. When she is done, Tyler giggles and wiggles his eyebrows at me.
"W-what did you go and get?" Josh clears his throat, walking over to the three of us. He kisses the top of my head before leaning against the counter to stare at Tyler.
"I brought back cake! As a celebration for healthy futures." Tyler grins at me, flashing his white teeth. I smile back at him, staring longingly at the chocolate fudge cake he holds in his hands.
"Sweetie... you do realize how that contradicts itself, right?" Momma Dun says, looking everywhere but into Tylers puppy dog eyes.
"Cake is good for the soul though." He whispers, and I look over at Josh. He nods, a gigantic smile on his face. Within a couple of seconds, he has plates on the counter and is cutting into the cake, while Tyler stands beside him eagerly.

"JOSH LISTEN I HAVE A GREAT IDEA." Tyler screams, running into Josh's bedroom. Josh jumps into a sitting position in bed, paranoid. I squint my eyes as Tylers flashlight from his phone shines into my eyes. He is grinning and bouncing in place, excited as can be. Josh tilts his head and motions for him to talk. I peek a glance over to the side and see that the clock says it's one in the morning.
"OK. So picture this! On our setlist, we play Guns for Hands, yeah? And it's going well, and then BAM. We bring out a freaking hamster ball and I run on everyone's head?!?" Tyler exclaims, as if it's the best idea he's ever had. Josh tries to contain his smile and runs his hand over his face.
"Yeah, ok. You can do that when i get the chance to have a synchronized drum line." Josh slowly rolls his eyes, a small smile playing on his lips. As we watch Tyler, awaiting his reaction, we are both shocked. Instead of sensing Josh's sarcasm, he's jumping up and down on Josh's bed now, practically screaming.
"Yes! Jesus, yes! You can do that during like, Tear in my Heart or something! And you can have them in those hazard suits, like for Lane Boy!" Tylers grin is covering his face, bigger than ever. Josh stares at him as if he is crazy, but slowly a smile breaks out on his face.
"Wait, really? We can do a drum line?" Josh's voice starts out as a whisper, but it is very loud at the end, showing how excited he is as well. It's like these boys feed off of each others energy. Tyler nods, looking like his neck is about to break.
Tyler and Josh both start jumping on the bed, rambling out random ideas. I can't catch a single thing they say, but they understand each other completely. Weirdos. But I watch on, a smile on my face. Just a couple more weeks until they can go back on tour, and damn, they sure do not waste any time thinking about it.
Soon enough, the boys calm down and Josh crawls back under the covers with me. I snuggle into his chest as the boys say goodbye to one another. Tyler uses his flashlight to shine on the floor, showing the way to the door. As he's slowly sneaking away, Josh sits up abruptly once more.
"Tyler, how the hell did you get into my house?"
"HEHHEHEHEHEHE."
