You opened your eyes and Jae was beside you sleeping on his sides. You shifted your position and layed in your sides too to clearly see Jae's face.
He's sleeping soundly and you can't help but touch his cheeks. You smiled, disbelieving how you end up loving him so deeply. You rubbed your eyes, remembering what happened. Ah right. We had a fight.
You remembered the scene last night, Jae walked out and you spent the night crying on your bed, waiting for him. Remembering it, made your heart ache.
Suddenly, he opened his eyes. He was silent and his eyes were sad. He seemed afraid to say something because of what you'll answer to him. Yet he manged to construct the words that he'd been trying to tell.
"Please listen to me."
"I am."
A tear escaped from his eyes but he tried to talk again.
"Please don't leave me."
Both of you are in pain. You love each other but this relationship is not worth fighting for anymore. Not now. Now that being together means just anguish and grief to both of you. And maybe letting him go would make it easier.
"I'm sorry."
