"Honey, I'd like you to meet Jenna. She's the Clarkes' fourteen-year-old daughter. I hope you two will have fun together while we're here."

I look where my father is pointing and see a girl, but not just any girl. The perfect girl. I watch as she looks me up and down, as if appraising me. I feel naked under her heavy gaze, but I don't mind, because I have never seen such a perfect-looking human being in my life, and I don't want to offend so early on.

Jenna has long, straight brown hair that falls in beautiful waves down her back. It sways gently in the breeze, and I find myself captivated by her beauty. Her hair is thick, rich, and lustrous, her face flawless. She smiles a quick, fleeting smile at me, and my eyes catch onto a mouthful of braces. I smile back, my smile stretching across my face like I'm some sort of deranged clown.

She laughs, and walks closer to me. By now, I can tell the color of Jenna's eyes. They're a rushing, wild, free ocean blue. Ocean eyes. I love them already.

"Hi," Jenna says, extending a hand to me. I shake it firmly. "Hi."
