I jerk awake as we come to a stop and quickly move my head off Shane's shoulder. I look over at Ace and he looks over at me.

"We're good." He says and I shake Shane awake.

The doors open and Ace steps out first followed by me.

"This is where we found you last time." The driver says and I look around recognizing it.

"You're free." He says then gets in the car and speeds away. We stand guard for a few minutes then start to walk.

"This is exactly where they last found us." I mumble and both boys agree.

"This seems way too easy." Shane mumbles

"Yeah, that's what I was thinking." Ace agrees and I shake my head.

"Because it is easy when there's no strings attached."

"Why are you so calm about this?"

"Because it's the facts." I say

"What did they say to you when you were gone for those hours Neveah?" Shane asks and I shake my head.

"Nothing. Let's just get back to business." I mumble then slide by him.

"Neveah?"

I ignore him and walk past the airport we were last at.

"There's a hotel a few miles up the road. We will stop there and get freshened up!" I call over my shoulder then keep walking.

The hotel comes into view and we walk over to it. We head inside and walk over to the front desk.

"Hello, how can I help you three?"

"Just a room."

"Would you like two beds?"

"Whatever works." I mumble calling on my magic. The charge doesn't come and I stay stone faced continuing to control her.

"Room 244." She says grabbing the key and handing it over.

"Thank you." I respond and she nods.

"We were never here." Shane mumbles and she nods turning away.

"Let's go." He says and we head to the elevator. We climb in then Shane and I both release her from our magic as the doors shut. The elevator opens back up on floor two and we get out. We find our room with ease and head inside.

"I'm going to take a shower. You two figure out the bed arrangements." I mumble shutting the bathroom door.

I turn the water on then strip my clothes and step in.

"Y'all figure it out?" I ask coming out to Ace on one bed and Shane on the other. They look up at me then to each other with shrugs.

"Boys." I grumble grabbing the remote then sitting on Shane's bed.

"Me and him are not sleeping together." Ace says

"Hell no." Shane mumbles and I roll my eyes.

"Fine, then one of you gets me." I mutter looking between them. Neither look to liking of the thought.

"Shane. You can have her." Ace says and I raise an eyebrow.

"Sure." Shane mumbles then gets up and heads into the bathroom.

"Is he moody to you too?"

"He always is. This time, he has the right tho. You're acting insanely chill about this whole thing." Ace states sitting up.
