R: *sits uneasily on a chair backstage, waiting for his cue to go onstage, calls MT* Hello Ma?

MT: Oh bakit na naman?

R: Papunta ka na ba?

MT: Andito na ako. Kanina pa.

R: Ano na? Yung bilin ko? Okay na ba?

MT: Hay naku! Kung di ka tawag ng tawag kanina ko pa tapos! Bakit ba kasi ako ang sinabak mo dito?

R: Ma, alam mo naman na wala akong ibang maasahan kundi ikaw lang. Love you, Ma.

MT: Tse! May kailangan ka lang. Ayaw mo lang mabalatan ng buhay ng jowa mo kaya ka naglalambing.

R: Hindi ah. Love talaga kita, Ma.

MT: Hindi halata. *rolls eyes*

M: Andiyan na ba si Meng? Pakibilisan, Ma, baka maabutan ka diyan na di pa tapos. Sa text niya, malapit na sila matapos sa studio.

MT: Oh kita mo to. Eto na bibilisan na. Wag ka nang tatawag sasabihin ko din kung anong nangyari. Paepal.

R: Ma, picturan mo ha? Ayusin mo. Yung video sa pagdating ni Meng din ha?

MT: Oo na! Pambihira. Ano ba talagang trabaho ko? PA, Decorator o Photographer?

R: Nanay. Nanay ko, Ma. *smiles*

MT: Hay naku! Minsan talaga iniisip ko kung bakit ginawa ko to sa buhay ko. Sa dami ng pwedeng maging alaga.

R: Kasi, Ma, meant to be din tayo. Tsaka ikaw din. Mumultuhin ka ni Mommy pag di mo ako inalagaan mabuti. *laughs*

MT: Kita mo to. Nanakot pa. Mag-isa pa naman ako dito. Sobrang tahimik.

R: Hala, Ma! Sa likod mo!

MT: *shrieks* Siraulo! Sige, ituloy mo yan. Magwo-walkout ako dito.

R: Sorry na, Maaaaa... Sorry naaaa!!!

MT: O siya siya! Ang daldal mo. Di ako matatapos sa'yo eh. Bye!

R: Bye, Ma. Thank youuuuuu!

MT: Basta para kay Meng. Welcome. Bye. *ends call, continues preparing R's surprise for M*

March 3, 12:05am:

M: *gasps as she enters the condo* Ma! Ano to? *asks MT with a smile on her face as she follows the red rose petals on the floor that made a path to her bedroom* Ma! Ikaw gumawa nito? Ang ganda po.

MT: Oo. Tawag ng tawag yung jowa mo eh kung paano ko gagawin. *laughs*

M: *steps in her room and stares mesmerized at the fairy lights that hang on the wall, the red rose petals on her bed that formed a heart and the big cork board placed on the framed picture of her and R*

MT: Si Tisoy na ang may gawa niyan. Pinalagay na lang sa akin.

M: *walks to the board and looks closely at the pictures R picked for the collage, they were from their personal collection, mostly from Boracay, Italy and Germany, a few from the KS wedding, there's one baby picture of her and one of him, and some more from their road trips and dates, they were carefully arranged and decorated with little cut out hearts and letters that spelled out L-O-V-E on the top of the frame* Oh, Love, thank you.

MT: Mahal na mahal ka talaga niya na kahit ano pang gawin ng iba para i-sabotahe ang mga plano niya para sa'yo gagawan niya talaga ng paraan.

M: *sniffs as a tear falls from her eye while she stares at their picture from the wedding* Alam ko po, Ma, at mahal na mahal ko din po siya.
