~ the most beautiful thing about a women is when she knows what she wants but she isn't waiting for someone to get her that- she is perfectly capable herself!~

It was a beautiful morning with the sun just risen and illuminating the dark world. The shrill alarm tone bugged her beauty sleep and she dismissed the alarm before yawning and sitting on the bed. Rubbing her eyes to tackle the fight sleep was putting her through, she stood up and opened the curtains of her room, welcoming the day. It was the only thing she liked in her room, or rather in the entire city.

"Nandini, wake up beta", she heard a voice calling her and she turned to welcome her mother, Mrs padmini murthy

"Nandini, wake up beta", she heard a voice calling her and she turned to welcome her mother, Mrs padmini murthy.

"Good morning amma...", She wished her with a smile and Padmini entered patting her beloved daughter's head.

" Good morning. You woke up before me like every morning...", She complained with a pout and Nandini laughed at her mother.

"Just five minutes before you amma...", She giggled and this time padmini joined her.

Half an hour later, all freshened up and ready Nandini was reading the newspaper in the drawing room while her mother prepared the breakfast. In front of her on the single bed lying in the drawing room was sleeping her younger brother- Rishab.
She smiled at his sleeping face, busy dreaming the world at its feet! Dreams were something she never believed in, not as long as she remembered her life. Ambitions are different but the dreamy kind of dreams were never her cup of tea. Why waste your time visualizing things that won't be real ever? Well, that was how practical Nandini was. Ruffling his hairs, Nandini went into her mother's room, shaking her sister out of her beauty sleep.

"Get up Navya, you will be late for college", she tried waking her up while Navya twisted and turned but again drifted to sleep.

" Nandini...you have your breakfast...I will get them to leave before going to school", she heard her mother saying and she nodded. Collecting her bag and the tiffin she was already to leave for work.

" Take care amma. Don't exert yourself running behind your kids. And make sure these two sleepy heads go to college", she repeated her Every-morning-compulsory-dose-of-instructions and her mother nodded before smiling at her over caring daughter.
Well that was the everyday routine at the murthy household. Nandini murthy, the eldest daughter worked as a manger at a MNC followed by her part time job at a library for running the home. She was the bread earner of her house and the father figure her siblings looked up to. Navya and Rishabh were twins, four years younger to her and now we're in their third year of college. Navya was pursuing law while Rishab was a BBA student. Their mother was a english teacher in a nearby school where she taught students till tenth. A middle class family and their struggles are many-not everyone understand them....!

~at the end of the day, your feet should be dirty, your hair should be messy and your eyes sparkling~

The guitar tune brought the entire mansion to life and it was also the signal for Mrs Nyonika Malhotra that her son was finally up and she needed  to send his green tea upstairs. Well after a complete hour, descended the prince charming of the malhotra clan- Manik Malhotra. A sweet whistle playing on his lips,he came down to find his mother talking over a new deal. Nyonika malhotra was the most appreciated interior designer of the elite class and she was proud of it. Though it also kept her busy way too much, she tried her best to have some time for her dear family.

" Morning mom", Manik wished with a smile and Nyonika wished him back.  Picking up an Apple from the fruit basket, he moved towards the exit and then turned suddenly.

" Wake up Kabir mom. He is still asleep", he rolled his eyes, "and I am leaving for office. Dad would be waiting".

Nyonika wanted to stop him and ask to have breakfast but at the same time her cellphone budged and she picked it up for it was her new client while Manik left for office.

Manik was interning under his father, learning the basics of his buisness and it's extent while also studying the nature of his Father while he dealt with associates. He already had an Oxford MBA degree so all he needed was a little experience. Guitar was his best friend and singing his favourite pass time. He loved learning new whitsle tunes and then annoying his mother with them. Manik loved his family very much, no doubt. Over all, he was a carefree soul who wanted to enjoy his life before he turned forty!

Nevertheless, he entered his dad's cabin to find it empty. Must be in a meeting. Since he had no work assigned for the day, he picked up his novel from the desk, the one he was reading recently, Everytime it rains by Nikita Singh. He wasnt a very big fan of Indian authors but it is always a good option if you want something light and easy. Well, he loved the protagonist laila and her way to deal her life, even though it was shattering her. He loved drawing comparisons between the characters he read and himself or people around him.
"One day I will meet a lady like her too, the one who knows to live her life her way striving through it", he thought in his mind and an instant smile made its way on his lips. And then he went back to reading his book!
