The brain is so important, so important that we must educate ourselves to learn about the whole subject of the brain, mental illness and psychology enough so we can take better care of ourselves including our brains on that particular level.
So we can also then know how to treat others. In order to be kind to others, we must be kind to ourselves first. We must love ourselves first before someone else. Get where I'm going here?
So it makes sense that we should care for the brain no matter how strange, new, uncomfortable it may seem or feel for you. Feeling uncomfortable particularly in the right way means a great thing.
It means you are allowing yourself to change by stepping outside your comfort zone. Because no change happens in a comfort zone.
If it doesn't challenge you, it won't change you!
