A story of two teenagers who explore the harsh reality of life and society, and still manage to hope until a war breaks out and they both have to fight the battles.

In a small meadow away from the entire world lived a girl and her dragon. At dawn she walked the woods and foraged, at noon she tended to her home, and at dusk she cared for her livestock. Is what I'd like to say. No, our girl got uprooted from her quaint farm and tossed into a world where neighbors turn on each other and trust is at an all-time low. How is she, and her new squad of misfits going to survive in this world? Especially considering they're all the pawns of those that hold their leash.
