The Mystery Note
He woke up in the dead of night,
While everyone's out cold.
He knew he had to do things right,
So no one else would know.
He crept outside the bakery
With a small bag in his hand.
He slinked past houses silently,
Not a single step made sound.
At last, he saw his target,
On a building not that far.
A room was lit with warm light,
And the window, half ajar.
And so with opportunity,
He climbed inside the room.
He gazed upon her sleeping face,
And hoped she escapes this doom.
From the bag, he took a paper rose,
And a note that's folded tight.
He gently laid both by her side,
And then vanished to the night.
Next morning, Doc had checked on her,
Nope, CG's still out cold.
But he found some papers flattened out,
And the note, he did unfold.
Well the Doc's forehead did tighten,
Then his face lit after that.
He smiled at what was written,
A little love note, that was what!
The mystery note simply read:
Dear CG,
Please wake up, for me. <3 <3 <3
"Well, bless me, is this 3Gun's?
A little love note for his lass?
With the little hearts he drew there,
I can tell, this man's got class."
He took both of the papers,
Stuffing both in CG's coat.
When she wakes, he'll just remind her,
As to where she can find it both.
