Deal or No Deal?
"Where to now
That we've found the cow?"
"I need to speak to a cat
About a witch
Who will be lucky
If she doesn't end up in a ditch?"
They now stood outside a cave.
There were wolves guarding the door.
"Thank you my friends
Your services are not needed anymore."
The wolves went away
Jasper showed his cat like teeth
Before he did say,
"So you came back?
What have you done with my Ruby?"
"If you want to know
You'll have to come with me."
Billy to say the least was surprised
And Jasper did narrow his eyes.
He looked about to pounce
Ruechari cared not an ounce.
"You think you'll hurt me?
Another has tried, so we'll see."
"What to you mean?"
"I mean I've already played this scene.
Ruby has another like you
and this is what he can do."
I pulled my shirt so he could see
the scars left by the new kitty.
"You're LYING!
How do I know, she's not hurt or dying!"
"Look into my eyes and you will see
There is no pretense, not to me."
Jasper came oh so close
He circled once or twice.
He looked in my eyes
His soul I did entice.
"You are now in my care
And to you this I swear
If your ties you choose to sever
And you help with my next endeavor
You may roam and go free
Be the cat you wish to be
And if you ever do need me
You need only whisper the name
Ruechari."
Billy was a bit unnerved
As Jasper literally purred
"I don't do well on my own.
What I want is your promise of a home."
