A Surprise for CG
Billy asked,
"So what will it be Rue?
Horses or Canoe?"
"I think our horses
will make due."
We went to the stables
Which were sparkly clean
I saddled up SixStar
I had gotten from Lean.
Something rustled in the hay
"Well what have we here,
You just may make CG's day."
A cute little cat with patches of white
About to jump out the window from fright.
"Oh, no you don't. You're coming with me."
And Rue snatched him before he got free.
She looked the at the cat
Deep in it's eyes
Checking him out
She had enough with surprise.
"This kitty seems quite ordinary."
It snuggled in, all tame.
"You think we can sneak him
past 3Gun, and Stannbear to CG?"
Billy laughed, "I'm game."
I placed him in my bag.
"Now don't you make a peep.
I just so happen to have a home
Someone who'd love to keep
A little guy like you,
but you better not roam
Stick to her like glue."
The cat answered back with a, "Mew!"
I stopped by her office
Once we had our supplies
I handed her the satchel
And said, "Surprise!"
"Billy and I will be on our way
But first a little something
to brighten your day."
