Someone's POV

Tests done, everyone in the room are now patiently waiting for the results. Chard's now calmly sitting on his bed, his back leaning in some pile of pillows, breathing with ease.

Di nalang silang tatlo ang nasa kwarto. Riza and Dan are also there to bring clothes and food for Richard Sr.

"Iniwan muna namin si Ate na magpahinga sa bahay Kuya, she slept while nursing Uno. Dala narin siguro ng pagod at antok kaya ayun, na drain na at bagsak." Riza

"Mabuti naman ay nakakapag pahinga sya. Yung mga bata? Kamusta sila?" Chard

"Uno and Dahlia are ok. Tulog silang tatlo pag-alis namin nina Kuya." Riza

"Ikaw na muna bahala sa kanila habang nasa ospital ako Riz. Tulungan mo muna Ate Deia mo." Chard

"Naman Kuya! Kaya ikaw bilisan mo jan, pagaling ka agad. Ok?" Riza

"I will." Chard

Ok pa ang usapan ng lahat sa kwarto until Chard's doctor came in with the results.

"Doc, good morning po ulit." Chard

"So i already have your MRI, MRA and CT Scan results. I also have here my fellow Doctor, from my Department. She's gonna be my assistant for your surgery." Dr. Diann

"S-s-surgery Doc?" Di makapaniwalang tanong ni Ricky sa Doctor. Tumingin din ito sa anak nyang pigil narin ang luha.

"After looking at his test results, i confirmed that Chard's Pineal tumor has grown more than i expected. That causes his headaches, nausea, his visual problems and also fatigue. From benign or stage 1 tumor, it rapidly grew to be a malignant stage 4 Pineal Tumor. We are transferring Chard in ICU for observations. I already requested for an operation as soon as possible." Dr. Diann

After hearing what the Doctor said ay napaupo na si Ricky, umiiyak narin si Riza habang yakap yakap ni April. Chard's brother was shocked.

Lahat sila di makapaniwala. They all thought na walang nangyayaring masama. They saw Chard as a healthy and happy man but now?

"Is there any possibilities of complications during or after surgeries Doc?" Chard

"If things gets worsts, your motor movements will be affected. But we will do our best. Pineal tumors are rare in adults, especially Pineoblastoma, that's what your tumor is called. Usually Pineoblastoma appears in children and rarely in adults but usually males. Causes are unknown. Till now it's origin is a mystery, even if doctors from states or abroad cant determine where this Tumor came from." Dr. Diann

"How about it's treatment Doc?" Richard Sr.

"Because of the remote and difficult-to-reach location of the pineal gland, observation is often advised which we will do for the next days before the day of his surgery. Then we have either the open brain surgery and stereotactic biopsy or the other type which is the minimally invasive endoscopic approach as the mainstay of therapy. This curative procedure begins by creating a "keyhole" smaller than a dime behind the ear. From there, a slender endoscope slides over the top of the cerebellum and through a natural pathway to access the deep-seated pineal tumor, without the need for any metal retractors or the need to go through normal brain tissue. This revolutionary procedure is used to completely excise the tumor without having a huge opening in the skull as well us disturbing or damaging other parts of the brain." De. Diann
