Raine is visiting for the weekend, and I'm not looking forward to it.

Don't get me wrong, Raine and I are happy together, but it's just that I haven't told Uncle Sam or Cas yet. And we've been dating for two months already. Dad and Raine and Phoebe are the only ones who know I'm bisexual.

I shuffle out to the kitchen where both Cas and Uncle Sam are sitting at the kitchen table talking. Great. I'm terrible at lying.

"Hey, look who's finally up," Uncle Sam comments.

"Yeah, I'm, um, I'm awake," I stutter.

"Yeah... we can see that."

"Where's Dad?" I ask, changing the subject.

"Ran to the store. We're out of milk."

"Oh."

"So, what time is Raine getting here?"

I nearly drop the toaster on my toes as I set it on the counter. "Um, I don't, um, I-I'm not exactly sure." Lie. I know exactly when she's getting here.

Uncle Sam and Cas both glance at me. "You okay, Ace?"

"Yeah, I'm fine, I'm great."

"You don't seem fine," Cas cuts in. "You keep stuttering and almost dropped the toaster."

"I don't know what you're talking about. I'm fine." My cheeks burn.

They continue looking at me.

"I'm gonna go get dressed," I blurt and rush out of the kitchen before they can say anything else. I shake my head. Why is it so hard to tell them? I thought after I told Dad it would be easy to tell Uncle Sam and Cas, but I was wrong.

My phone rings as I shut my door behind me. It's Raine. "Hey, Raine," I say.

"Hey, Jemma. We're a little under an hour away."

I smile. "Awesome."

She laughs. "Alright, I'll call you when we're close."

"Okay. Bye."

"Bye."

Three knocks sound at my door. "Jem? Can I come in?" It's Dad.

"Yeah," I tell him.

"Hey. How'd it go?"

"How'd what go?"

Dad tilts his head. "Sam and Cas? Y'know, coming out?"

"Um, yeah, I, uh, didn't."

"Jemma, what happened?"

I shrug. "I don't know. I'm nervous."

"Oh, Sunshine. I know it's scary, but I also know that Sam and Cas will be supportive."

I sigh. "I just wish they already knew and I didn't have to tell them."

"Do you want me to tell them?"

"No, Dad, I have to tell them."

"Okay. Get dressed, the Delgados should be here soon."
