I stared at the books that were sitting on the side table of my bed. Yesterday's conversation played over in my head. I sighed and sat up in the bed. I grabbed Dracula the red leather cover felt cool under my fingertips. I flipped through the pages scanning it but stopped when I came to a picture hidden in the pages. I grabbed it and put the book on my lap. It was a picture of a woman smiling. Her hair was vibrant black that went just past her shoulders and her eyes were a honey brown, but the most mesmerizing thing was her smile. Her smile lit up the whole picture like this was the exact moment of the best part of her life. I couldn't help but smile at the picture but why was it in Negan's book? It must be someone special to him. I leaned back in my bed and looked at the picture some more. This was part of his past and someone so special he kept a picture of them with him all this time.

My heart skipped at the sound of a knock at my door. I quickly hit the picture under my pillow and put the book back on the bedside table.

"Yes?" I called out. I heard the lock click and the door open. Negan stood there in the doorway with a smile on his face.

"Your lazy ass isn't out of bed yet?" I sighed and leaned back in bed crossing my arms.

"No." I responded. He clapped his hands and rubbed them together making me jump slightly.

"Whelp, up and at em'! It's a brand-new day," He sniffed the air exaggeratedly " I smell some bacon!" He turned to the makeshift closet and looked at me. He grabbed a dark blue dress with a floral pattern along the bottom. "I want you to look nice. Put this on and nice shoes." He said throwing the dress on the bed before nodding and walking out the door closing it behind him. I sighed and fell back on the bed. Play along. Play along. I reminded myself.

I flipped the cover off and cringed as my feet hit the cold cement floors. I took off the plain gray t-shirt I had worn to bed and slid on the dress over my head. It wasn't a perfect fit the straps were constantly falling off my shoulders but it still looked nice. I took a long hard look in the mirror. My own black hair, which had once been shiny and vibrant like the women in the picture was now dim and lighter due to the constant Sun, sat on my shoulders and I sighed I looked foolish in a dress but I did it for Daryl. I grabbed a pair of plain black flat that was a bit too small as they pinched my toes. I pulled half of my hair back and secured it with my only hair tie. I sighed and took one look into the mirror disgusted at how I was so dressed up for Negan. I nodded to my reflection.

"You can do this." I whispered trying to motivate myself. I opened the door into the hallway ready to face Negan but instead, I found Scott leaning against the wall directly across from the door. I felt bile in my stomach looking at his smirk. I didn't say anything as he took a long look at me. I suddenly wanted to run back in and change.

"My, My," He whispered. "you clean up nice." He said before inhaling and sitting up. "You need to follow me." I eyed him suspiciously. "Negan is waiting for you." I gave a slight nod and he began to walk down the hall. I followed him cautiously down the hallway. I couldn't help but feel the other saviors' stares as we passed them. I'm sure I looked extremely out of place. I kept my eyes to the ground not wanting to meet anyone's curious glances. We arrived at the red door where I saw Daryl. My heart stopped as I heard Negan's muffled voice on the other side.

"Pow!" Negan's voice became louder through the door. Scott stopped from knocking on the door. " One of my top guys!" His voice became softer. "and we are totally cool." Was the last thing I got to hear before Scott grabbed my arm and pulled down the red chair that was outside the door. Scott waited by the door waiting for a moment that the muffling stopped. He cleared his throat and knocked on the door. Dwight opened the door and looked into the room and then turned back to us nodded his head. I got up and walked into the room and in there were Daryl and Negan facing each other only inches apart. My eyes went wide at the sight of Daryl. His eyes looked me up in down and I could feel the frustration coming from him. However, Negan smiled at me and wolf-whistled. I felt my skin start to get prickly from the tension.

"Damn," Negan bellowed. I felt my face flush because I wasn't used to be the center of attention. "Even your girlfriend is smoking hot." Daryl shot his head back at Negan and Negan laughed. "Oh, you thought I didn't know?" I felt my stomach drop as I glanced back and forth between them. Negan walked to where he was standing between us. "I thought I told you I have eyes everywhere. You thought Scotty and D didn't see yall's little connection?" I glanced at where Scott and Dwight were standing together but they had their eyes fixed on Negan. I started to twist my hands behind my back in fear. Negan walked closer to me till his face was just inches from mine. "Who are you?" He asked in a whisper.

"Lucille." I answered. It must have been the right answer as he smiled down at me. He suddenly draped his arm around my should and turned to where Daryl was. The cold leather brushed against my exposed back making me shiver. Daryl stood watching us with his hands in fists.

"I think I know a fucking great way to get us started." Negan exclaimed moving me slightly as he moved his other around. "How about Lucille here marries me and I promise I won't kill you!" Negan exclaimed and I tensed up. Those guys from before were right he wanted another wife. Suddenly Daryl started to charge toward Negan causing me to reach out to him.

"Daryl stop!" Negan's arm held me tighter as I reached. But Daryl was stopped before he could even get that close to us. Scott and Dwight held both his arms behind his back as he stared at Negan in anger.

"Woah ho ho!" Negan called out. "I sense a little hostility! I just offered to save your life and you come after me!" Negan laughed. "I'm not sure about maybe I'll just marry her and kill you anyway." I jerked out of his arms.

"I'll do it but you can't kill him," I said facing Negan. He smiled and looked at me. "I'll be your wife but you can't kill him." Negan clicked his tongue and looked back at Daryl. I couldn't dare face him. I could feel the dread of doing this already seeping out of my pores.

"Alright." He said chuckling. "I've always had a weakness for attractive women." He grabbed me by the waist and pulled me to him. I stared into his eyes hoping he felt the anger coming off my body. I turned my face away from him sick of seeing it so close. "Funny how easy they give themselves for someone else." I could feel his breath on my neck causing me to shake.

"You bastard!" Daryl said out of fury. I brought myself to look at him as he looked back he seemed so miserable. "Don't do this. Luci don't." I could feel Negan laughing against my body.

"Deal has already been made." Negan said. I looked down to the ground feeling the tears falling down my cheeks. "Get him back to his cell." Dwight nodded and grabbed him by the back of his shirt and started to shove him out of the room.

"I'm sorry." I managed to whisper unsure if he could hear me. "I love you."
