Scott strolled over to the dresser and sat on its top, leaning his back against the wall behind him. He stared at Mitch as he tried to plan out the best way to execute this. Mitch was already laying on his back, his legs dangling off the edge of the bed as he tapped away his phone. He'd worn a flowy, black button up to their dinner date and it had hitched up when he'd lain down, a tiny bit of his stomach exposed above the waistband of his dark skinny jeans. He looked so cute laying there carefree and worn out that Scott felt bad for being so sneaky with him. He decided Mitch would probably forgive him and called him over, scooting forward a little on the top of the dresser.

"Mitch? Come here, baby."

Mitch groaned, loud enough that Scott was sure Kirstie probably heard it nextdoor. He looked away from his phone with sad eyes. "Do I have to? I'm tired."

"Of course you don't. I'd love it if you did, though. Please?"

"Why?"

"Please?"

Mitch sat up and pushed himself out of bed, reluctantly walking over to the dresser and stopping in front of him. Scott held his hands out and Mitch rested his own in them, beyond confused. He let Scott pull him closer by the hands until he was standing between Scott's knees and Mitch furrowed his brow when the blond dipped down to kiss his forehead.

"What?"

"Nothing. Just wanted you close. You just look really good tonight."

"Oh." He smiled tiredly, softening a little at the way Scott was looking at him. "Thanks. You too."

"Really, really good. Stunning. I'm glad you saved this outfit just for our date, I love it." He dipped a finger under Mitch's collar button, tugging him close enough that his legs were pressed against the front of the dresser drawers between his own. "You're just beautiful. You look gorgeous in this."

"Thank you."

It was barely a whisper, but Scott could already see a little change. It wasn't hard to woo Mitch, especially when he entirely meant everything he was saying. He could already see Mitch's expression softening, his eyes a little wider and cheeks a little warmer than they were a minute ago. Scott smiled a little, not letting his own eyes leave them.

"Thanks for dinner tonight, Mitchy. I loved it. I miss spending time with you like that."

"I miss it too. I miss having you all to myself."

"You do?"

"Of course I do, silly." He smiled up at him and his expression was so endearing that Scott couldn't help but lean down to kiss his cheek, Mitch closing his eyes when Scott let his lips linger against his skin. Scott followed his cheekbone with soft kisses and made his way to Mitch's temple before wrapping his arms around his shoulders and resting his chin on Mitch's head. He was way too tall sitting on the dresser to get a real hug out of it but Mitch was glad to accommodate, leaning into him and snuggling his face against Scott's chest. "I miss you a lot. I can't wait to go home. Tour is so hard."

Was now an appropriate time to respond with as am I? Probably not. Scott settled for a quiet "mhmm," trying to think up his next move. Mitch was already getting too cozy with him and Scott was afraid he might fall asleep standing up if he let it last too long. He wondered if Kirstie was even trying to listen anymore or if she'd just gotten bored and left. He brought his attention back to the boy cuddling up to him, tracing little circles on his lower back over his shirt. "Mitchy? You weren't about to go to bed, were you?"

"Hmm? Uh, maybe. Why?"

"I wanted more time with you. I've had a long day. You always know how to make me feel better."
