Brendon's life hasn't been so interesting since his hearing aids broke. The same repetitive thing. Wake up, take a shower, get dressed, go downstairs, eat, go back upstairs, sleep, and repeat. He isn't too fond of it either. Dallon hasn't texted him or brought the homework over. Which upsets him because his own boyfriend forgot about him.
Not to mention, Melanie and the others haven't even taken interest in helping him out. Simply texting him if he's okay would've been enough. But of course not. He's just another guy. They probably only talked to him because he was new. That's what he thinks at least.
All he wants is someone to text him. That would be enough. But people don't always get what they want. Sometimes you have to work towards what you want. And that's hard when you're lazy and depressed. Brendon realizes that if people aren't giving him what he wants, he'll work towards it. Even if it's as simple as a text.
