"Anybody home?" I yell walking in the house

"In here!" I hear Ryan yell back as I walk in the kitchen and see Swazz.

"Hi baby" I smile walking into his open arms.

"How was the meeting?" He asked

"It was actually surprisingly awesome" I chuckled

"What was it about?"

"Um a new job..." He nodded for me to go on, "it's a surf sponsor that wanted to talk about signing me with them"

"Really?! That's great! You deserve it!" He said picking me up spinning me around.

"It is! And it pays wayyyyy better than the diner," I smiled but let my face fall, "there is one downfall though"

"What's that?"

"I'll have to travel, kind of a lot, at least once a month" I sighed not telling him he could come

"Oh" his face fell, "did you accept the offer?" He asked

"Umm yeah" I hesitated

"What's gonna happen with us when you're gone?" He asked concerned

"See that's the thing," I stopped for dramatic effect "You get to come with!" I said and he was instantly relieved

"You little--" he cut himself off and laughed hugging me again

"Yep each time I leave I get to bring one person with me for free and anyone else has to buy their own ticket" I said hugging him again. Lots of hugging today, geez.

"I'm proud of you" he smiled at me. "Speaking of you, I like your hair like this" he said "although I was kind of hoping it was some twisted crazy dream thing that my mom, sister and girlfriend all died their hair together, but I guess not"

"Nope we did it slumber party style" I laughed.

We walked into the living room to see Ryan and Katie chillin watching something on tv. "Hey guys" I smiled

"Hey-o!" Ryan laughed.

John and I sat with them for a while before Katie turned to me "hey Adilynn if your available at any time I would love to get to know you some time before I leave" she suggested

"Of course! I'm pretty much open anytime"

"How about drinks tomorrow night? At like 8?" She asked

"Well actually I'm only 20," I informed, "but we can go out and you can drink, I'll drive" I laughed

"Sounds like a plan, I'm doing something with Derek and Ry tonight as well so I better go get ready for that." She smiled leaving the room

"Me to!" Ryan said going to her room.

"So it's just you and I" John sighed

"I guess"

Ryan, Katie, and Derek had left about two hours ago for whatever they were doing and it was just Swazz and I were sitting on the couch talking and somewhat watching a movie.

"Can I stay tonight?" John asked

"I don't know it's kinda weird with your mom here isn't it?"

"Not really, I mean she doesn't have to know" he winked

"Hahaha you little rebel" I said sarcastically

"You know it baby" he winked again, "come on it will be fun"

"Okayyyyyyyyyy" I giggled "this is a little backwards though

"What do you mean?"

"Instead of sneaking in, you're hiding out, at my house, but from your mom" I laughed

"True true" he thought about it and then we heard a car pull up "shit gotta go" he kissed my lips and ran upstairs to my room.

"WE'RE HOME!" Katie announced walking in setting her purse down, "and tired" she sighed, "night all!" She yelled walking into her room.

"Night" Ryan and I laughed and went our separate ways.

John and I were laying in my bed talking quietly. I loved how long we could just sit and talk yet not get board with each other.

"So what did you take to the boys today?" He asked out of curiosity

"Food for the whole week, pre cooked and packaged" I laughed

"You took them food and didn't tell me? Their gonna eat it all" he said sitting up straddling my body.

"Whatcha doin'?" I asked innocently

"Revenge" he said before he started tickling me.

"John your mom is downstairs I swear to God-" I cut my self off by screeching when he tickled my side.

He immediately stopped and we both sat completely still, not wanting to move a muscle. We heard a door open from a room downstairs and we heard footsteps go to the bottom of my stairs.

"Adilynn everything okay up there?" Katie yelled up

"Yeah everything's good Katie I'm just watching a scary movie, sorry I didn't mean to wake you" I replied.

Not long after she went back to her room I got a text from Ryan: "I know John's up there...nice cover though...keep it down next time you do whatever you're doing geezzzzz guys...nasty"

"He was just tickling me...I swear!" I replied

"Mmmmmhmmm sureeeeeeeeee"

I rolled over and looked at John, "we've been busted...by your sister" I said showing him the messages.
