Hey guuuuuuys.
I CAN'T BELIEVE I REACHED 1000 READS, I just can't even describe how much it means to me. I tried to make this chapter long to thank all of you for reading.
Anyway, here's the promised chapter, enjoyyyyy. x

"Hi mom.” I kissed her cheek and she started the car.

“Hi honey, how was your day?” She asked casually.

“It was.. normal, I guess.” I answered rolling the window down, letting the cold wind hit my face.

“How’s Harry?” She asked with a wide smile.

I could tell she had warmed up to him. And it made me happy really, if only he would get along with my friends too.

“Oh, he wasn’t in school today.” I answered and looked back out of the window, as my earlier worries came back.

“Why?”

“I don’t know.” I honestly answered; I just wish I had an answer for that. Convincing myself that I was overreacting I focused on the beautiful view that I had.

I popped down on the couch and turned on the TV. My attention wandered from the TV to my mom that entered the living-room wearing a beautiful dress instead of the jeans and sweater that she had on earlier.

“Wow wow, are we meeting the Queen ?” I joked.

My mom giggled before explaining.
“Darling, I’m going to a restaurant with my new friend Grace. She got a job promotion and wanted to celebrate so she invited me.” She spoke putting random stuff in her bag.

“You can either come with me or stay home, we have pizza.”She smiled at me.

“I guess I’ll stay. Where’s Alex?” I stood up from the couch walking into the kitchen to drink some water while listening to my mom.

“He’s staying over his friend’s house today.” She said happily. I knew that she, just like me, was happy that he was getting along with the kids here. My parents were really worried that moving would be hard for him, and that maybe it would be hard for him to make friends. But my brother, being my brother had everyone in his new school being his friends in the first day.

“Okay.” I said jumping back on the couch.

“I’ll be back late hun,  and dad is meeting us in the restaurant. He’ll head there straight from work.”

“Looks like everyone in this family have a life apart from me.” I mumbled.

“Oh darling, you can come with me if you want! Or if you don’t want to go I can stay.” She instantly got worried. You just got to love her for being so caring.

“Mom, I was kidding. Really, it’s fine. I’ll be fine.” I assured walking her to the door.

“Call me if you need anything.” She kissed my forehead, and stepped outside.

“You look beautiful mommy.” I shouted and she laughed.

“I got it from my daughtah.” She said in a weird accent just like I did the other night. I laughed and waved before stepping back and locking the door behind me.

Going to my room to get my phone, I got back down and opened Instagram on my phone since there was nothing interesting on TV. I jumped slightly when I heard a knock. Of course my mom couldn’t leave without forgetting something.
