Placing the last bucket on the shelf, I checked my phone to see it was only 10:30 and we had finished all our chores.

"You ready to go?" I yelled as I lead Pouka out of his stall and to the front of the barn. While waiting for the boys, I hopped up onto Pouka's back.

They finally walked their horses out and mounted them. Jai was riding Lola, Beau was on Pegasus, and Luke was on his own horse, Jake I believe his name was. It had felt like years since I had been on a horse, clearly it hasn't though. As soon as the boys were beside me I raced away on Pouka. I went straight for the open field. Not bothering on going through the gate, I ushered over the fence and we cleared it with room to spare. I could hear the boys yelling and laughing once I cleared the fence.

"There's the Kaitlyn we know!" They screamed and I giggled at their remarks and continued to charge through the field. The wind was in my hair and the noise of it blocked out all other distractions. I felt free again, like a weight was lifted from my shoulders, I forgot about everything that was bad. After a while I finally slowed down so the boys could catch up.

"Are you trying to kill me! I haven't been riding for that long!" Jai huffed, as he tried to catch his breath.

"Awe is poor Jai scared?" I asked in a baby voice to tease him.

"You have only really known us for four days and your already making fun of us," Luke smirked while still laughing.

"What can I say, you're easy targets," I shrugged my shoulders and stuck out my tongue. They were so easy to talked to.

We were now walking through the forest when I had brought up mine and Jai's conversation.

"Did Jai tell you that I had kind of remembered something?" I asked.

"No? What did you remember and why didn't you tell me earlier?" Luke questioned. eagerly.

"I remembered the night I was taken, and Prince being born. That's it," I said hesitantly.

"Not the best first memory but it's better than nothing," Luke seemed happy as he spoke which made me happy.

"Yeah, I guess you could think if it like that," I responded.

"So I hear we have a baby...." I cooed jokingly to Luke.

"Wait what," he turned to me confused and a little shocked.

"Prince, I'm talking about Prince," I said quickly to clear the air and get rid of his confused expression.

"Oh yeah, him," he clued in with a laugh.

"Jewels was pretty much our sergeant mother," he stated. I laughed at his response, and everyone else did as well, including him.

His laugh was adorable, his little grin would form two perfect dimples on his cheeks, and his nose would scrunch up hiding the one freckle he had on his nose. Which was also the only way to tell the twins apart at first glance. I couldn't help but think if it was possible that this boy could make me fall in love with him all over again?

We had spent another hour or so riding before we returned to the farm. This ride was perfect because I had really got to know the boys all over again. Beau never stops cracking jokes, Jai was always easiest to talk to and tease, and Luke had kind of a bad boy personality, yet he could be super sweet at the same time.

I took my time untacking Pouka, as did the boys. Once that was finished we all brought our horses out to the open stalls just outside of the barn to now bathe them. There were two stalls side by side, a door, and then two more stalls on the other side. The floor of stall was covered in a rubbery material with a drain in the middle. Jai and Beau were in the two stalls beside each other, as Luke and I were on the other side. I was just about done when Luke leaned over the fence that was joining our stalls.

"Is there something you would like to ask? Or are you just going to stare at me?" I questioned him with a smirk. I found him attractive so it was easy to flirt with him. You don't necessarily have to know someone to be flirty, it's based off of attraction.

"As much as I would like to watch you, I do have a question," he responded in a flirty tone.

"And what is that?" I raised my eyebrows at him, leaning against the fence as well with the hose in my hand.

"I was wondering if you wanted to go out with me tomorrow night?" He asked while looking at my face, but occasionally glancing from my eyes to my lips.

"Umm... no," I answered with straight face.

His whole complexion had dropped at the sound of those two words.

"I'm kidding, I'd love to," I smiled as I lent into kiss him.

"Great," he responded as he followed my actions. Right before our lips were about to meet I pulled the hose up to him and sprayed him.

I was in tears laughing when he took me by surprise and poured a soapy bucket of water on my head. Now he was the one in tears.

"Oh you're on!" I shouted through gritted teeth.

I ran over to his side and continued to spray him. We were running in circles spraying each other when he turned around, grabbed my waist from behind, and spun me in circles. We were both laughing and I was now facing him as he held me in the air. My head was just above his when I locked my fingers around the back of his neck. I was about to kiss him, but I just couldn't get myself to do it, not yet at least. Once again out lips were about to meet when I looked away, forcing him to give me a kiss on the cheek. I couldn't help but think how I ever got this boy to like me in the first place?

I had dropped the hose a while ago, but was now getting sprayed again.

"Sorry am I ruining the moment?" Beau asked pointing the hose at us. I looked over at Jai to see if he would stop Beau, but he didn't, instead he stood there awkwardly with his hands shoved in his pockets and a hurt look on his face. I brushed it off, just thinking he was sad because he wasn't included in the water fight yet.

I covered my face with my hands and ran towards Jai to hide behind him, resulting in getting him soaked. The water fight went on for another 15 minutes before we decided that we should actually get back to what we were originally supposed to be doing.

We finally put the horses in their stall and headed back to the house for dinner. Thank god because I was starving.
