Hide And Seek ~ Josh Dun

Chapter 54

Stepping up onto the wheel, he winks at Abby. The wheel starts moving and Josh tumbles slightly, but quickly regains his balance. Abby-Lynn counts down the seconds in her head. By the time she counts past 15 seconds, Josh is running at full speed on the wheel, tripping constantly. The boys are trying not to laugh as they watch Josh's expressions, mimicking them. Jenna is watching Josh with a smile.

With 5 seconds left, Josh trips and starts to fall, but quickly, somehow he regains his footing and finishes running. When the bell rings, he just drops and spins with the wheel, not caring about anything in the world. Who knew that it would take so much out of you.

After Josh is undressed and everyone has congratulated him, the host puts down another $400, smirking.

"Round 3! $800. Silence!"

When the cards flip over, Tyler pouts. Jenna smirks and pats his head. Zach and Mark grin, high fiving each other. Josh pulls the lever and everyone watches as it slowly lands on Punish Hand.

They are all lead to this weird looking machine that has a ruler on it. Tyler is instructed on what to do, stand on the x with his hand out. Zach volunteers quickly to be the one to spin the machine. Zach starts spinning and Jenna can't wipe the grin off of her face as the ruler repeatedly hits her husbands hand. He just pouts at it. Mark laughs loudly.

"Hey, Tyler. Remember that time when you ate all of my cookies?" Zach whispers, an evil grin on his face. Everyone bursts out laughing as Tyler and Zach glare at eachother. Tyler looks down first, smirking as he says of course. Zach spins it harder, and Josh has to lay down on the floor to stop laughing.

When we make it back to the table, Jenna kisses Tyler's hand which is now glowing red. The host glares at us, and says that we were being too loud. Everyone looks over at Mark who holds his hands up in surrender.

Once again, they pass out the cards, and everyone watches as Abby looks up with a sad smile. Josh's heart falls, and he instantly regrets having her come on the show. He pulls the lever, and watches as it slows, praying that it's something easy.

"Too Much Wine. Wow." Abby giggles, squeezing Josh's hand. He looks at her and she flashes him a bright smile, which honestly does make him feel a bit better.

They are lead to a brand new table this time, and Abby-Lynn is instructed to sit down after she is changed into a dress they have her. She smiles at everyone, nervously playing with her hands. Josh places a napkin from the table onto her lap, kissing her, the kind of kiss that always makes her knees weak. He backs away when he hears the door open.

The man walks in, three wine bottles in a little bowl. He sets it down and Abby-Lynn takes a deep breath. The man shows her one bottle, and she shrugs, not really knowing what to do. What everyone doesn't expect, is to have him hit her in the back of the head with it.

As Abby's eyes widen, Josh lunges forward, but Mark and Tyler grab him, holding onto his arms. Josh's face is red, eyes squinted at the ends. Jenna has her hand over her mouth. Zach had his mouth in a little circle. When the bottle had made contact, he let the words "Oh shit" slip out.

Once again, the other bottle makes contact and Abby shakes her head, putting her eyes down. Josh starts bouncing his legs, still held back by Tyler and Mark. Mark is quietly laughing, in shock. The last bottle is over with, and the man leaves.

Once he is a couple of feet away from him, Josh is released. Mark goes over to Zach and they quietly giggle together. Josh holds Abby, apologizing over and over again, even though she is laughing softly and shaking her head. She keeps on repeating that it is ok, but Josh is so frantic that he won't listen.

"Round 4! $1,000. Start!"

It's the last round. Only one person is safe. Everyone looks at each other, nervous. Josh hasn't let go of Abby's hand since she got changed. Tyler hands out the cards, and then everyone grabs one. Flipping it over, honestly, everyone breathes a sigh of relief when they find out Abby-Lynn is safe. She is practically the baby of the group.

Josh pulls the lever, and it eventually lands in Unexpected Mexican. A crew member brings over a plate of nachos, and everyone smirks at each other. Even though the smell is absolutely revolting, they know they can finish in 30 seconds.

After the timer starts, Abby is going around to everyone, encouraging them. Mark gags slightly after having a nacho filled with Tatar sauce. Zach giggles at him, but shortly after that he twists his face after he gets one full of wasabi. With 6 seconds to spare, they are done, and everyone silently cheers. Abby gives Josh a kiss, ignoring how deeply he smells of mustard.

At the end, they find out the won $3,000. Each of them smirk as they walk out holding $500. Once outside, Josh leans down and passionately kisses Abby-Lynn.

"I'm so proud of you baby." He says quietly, leaning his forehead against hers. She places her hand on his chest and smiles.

"I'm proud of you, silly. Now let's go home so you can brush your teeth. Your breath smells horrible." After Abby-Lynm says this, Josh opens his mouth wider and breaths full force in her face, causing her to squeal. It wasn't a bad day after all.
