Chapter 11

"Come on dude! You're going to Miami! That's so freaking cool."

"I don't know. My parents will be working the whole trip, so I'll be by myself in the hotel all day."

"Why don't you just go out? Find a guy. Explore. When my mom left me here, I would always be alone when you guys went off to school. You were my only friend and Cameron hated my guts, so I had to do something. So, I went out to the city and explored. You're old enough to do that too, so why don't you?"

"You're right. I'm going to explore, and find myself a hot guy!" She declared laughing.

I shake my head, laughing at her.

A few hours later, me and Cameron were saying goodbyes to the other three.

"Alright. I love you, be safe." Libby says hugging Cameron.

She gives me a hug after. "Bye Elena. Keep Cameron in check, please." she laughs.

"Will do."

"Alright. We're leaving now. Enjoy each other." Libby says with a smirk before giggling and walking out of the house.

My jaw hangs open and a chuckle escapes Cameron's lips.

"Hey Cameron?" He turns around to face me. "Where are the car keys?"

"Why?"

"I'm gonna go to the gym."

"You go to the gym?" he laughs.

"Duh, look at these rock hard abs." I say lifting my shirt a little.

He looks and his eyes widen. "Shit, I thought you were joking."

I laugh and pull my shirt back down. "So, keys?"

He hands me the car keys and I smile at him before scurrying off to my room to change.

I throw my hair in a ponytail and slip on my Nike pros, a sports bra, and a muscle tank.

I grab my Nike Frees and my phone before heading out to the car.

I throw my stuff in the passengers seat and start driving.

A few minutes later, I pull up at the gym and climb out of the car.

I pay the fee and head to the change rooms. I throw my shoes in a locker and slip on my Nike's.

I grab my headphones and my phone then head out to the machines.

Deciding to start off easy, I head over to the elliptical.

Ten minutes in, my phone lights up.

That bastard turned his post notifications on.

I open the notification and see his face pop up on my screen.

'home alone!!! #freedom'

I laugh at his lame comment and lock my phone, before continuing my work out

I head over to the squat machine and put ten on each side.

I do about three reps of fifteen before going on the leg press. A few reps later I decide to start on abs.

I grab a ten pound weight and sit on the mat. I lift my legs in the air and move the weight on either side of my body.

A few hours later I finish my workout and check my phone, to see multiple snapchats.

I had three in total. One from Kelly, Booboo, and Sam.

I open them then reply with the same snap for all three.

I take a picture in the mirror of me flexing and write 'ripped' in the bar.

I laugh and send it before going back to the change rooms.

After grabbing my stuff I head back to the car and drive home.

"Cameron?" I yell walking into the house.

"Living room."

I walk in and see him sprawled over one of the couches.

"Productive day I see." I laugh.

He hums in response and nods his head.

I ran upstairs and hop in the shower, making sure to lock the door.

After showering I change into sweats and jump into my bed.

I unlock my phone and call Sam.

"Hey El!"

"Hi Sam!"

"I miss you." I laugh after he says that.

"I feel like that's all we say to each other anymore."

"Well it's true. I miss my best friend."

"I miss you too Sam. How's everything back home?"

"Well, aside from the fact that everyone misses you? Exactly how it was when you left. Your typical parties on the weekends, our group sleepovers, everyone being pumped about being seniors after summer. Do you know if you'll be back for senior year?"

"Man, I never thought about that. I really hope so. It would suck if I didn't get to graduate with my bestfriends. At the very least, I'll be there for second semester."

"I hope so too. Man, how fucking weird would it be if you didn't graduate with us. Alex would probably cry."

"Oh, and you wouldn't? Mr. Stone Cold Heart." I say teasingly.

"You know I would be bummed." He mumbles softly.

"I know you would. Don't worry I was just teasing."

"So how's LA?"

"It's actually really cool. I met some really interesting people."

"Oh yeah. You're like a big shot now, hanging out with movie stars and Youtubers. What's that like?" he laughs.

"I'm not a big shot, but everyone's really cool. Kelly is amazing and I'm really glad I bumped into her. The movie stars and I are actually really close now." I say laughing.

"Yeah, Vanessa absolutely flipped when she found out you were hanging out with the Booboo Stewart." he laughs.

"I swear, I almost fainted when he asked for my number."

Me and Sam talked for hours, just catching up.

"Look El, I really gotta go. It's late and I have school tomorrow."

"Okay bye. Love you."

"Love you too."

I hung up the phone and look at the time.

9:04 pm

A knock on my door made me turn to face Cameron.

"Feel like going to a party?"
