After lying on the bed next to Dan for a little while you take a deep sigh.
"That was a loud sigh!" Dan chuckles
"I'm bored~" you moan.
Dan gets off the bed and arches his back.
"Jump on"
"What?"
"When was the last time you had a piggy back?" Dan asks.
"You really are a goof ball sometimes Dan" you grin, getting up and jumping up onto Dan's back. Dan grabs your thighs and begins to run around with you on his back.
"Aaaah Dan!" You giggle loudly as he runs out of the bedroom and upstairs to the games room.
You place your hands over his eyes, making him lose his balance and you both fall over on to the sofa.
"Oww!" Dan complains.
"Haha oops" You giggle on top of him.
He shuffles from underneath you and runs his hands under your top, smirking.
"Aaah Dan your hands are cold!" You yell, as he pulls his hands back laughing.
"Haha oops" He replies, mimicking you.
"Touchè Howell" You say, sitting on top of him.
"I wanna get up~" Dan wails.
"You can try but you won't succed" You laugh, folding your arms.
Dan grabs your sides and starts tickling them making you squirm.
"Dan stooop~" You moan.
He picks you up from the waist and manages to escape your grasp.
"Damn it"
"Aww was someone enjoying being on top of me?" Dan pouts.
"Maybe" You say, poking his dimples.
"Hey, we need to talk about something" Dan says.
Is this it? Is this the moment? Will he tell you that he likes you? Excitement begins to build up inside you.
"About what?" You question, placing your hand on Dan's thigh.
"Well I really love spending time with you"
This is it. The moment we've all been waiting for.
"But-"
"But?" You ask, worriedly.
"But, I've been asked to go to America next week for an award ceremony as Phil and I have been nominated for an award"
Oh.
"Wow Dan, that's great" You say, smiling.
"It is but I also don't want to leave you"
"Are you being serious?" You ask,"This is a big thing for you and Phil!"
Dan grabs your hand and interlocks his fingers with yours.
"Which is why we want you to come with us!" Dan announces.
"What!" You squeal.
"We fly out in a few days and we get to stay in a 5 star hotel for 2 weeks in Florida!"
"Oh my god, Dan this is amazing, thank you!"
With that, you both embrace each other.
"It's fine" Dan mumbles into his jumper that you're wearing, "I was the one who convinced the production people to let me take you"
You gasp and pull away from Dan with the biggest grin ever.
"Dan you are actually the best person ever!"
"Haha I try to be" He says.
"You don't need to try Daniel"
"What do you mean?"
"You are already perfect to me"
Dan blushes and grabs your waist tightly, pulling you closer.
"I like this" Dan says.
"What?"
"Being able to wrap myself around you"
"Why?"
"So I can prove to you just how much I care about you" Dan says, cutely.
"I like this too" You blush.
"I'm glad you do"
Dan moves your legs and lays them across his, pulling you up onto his lap - you're new favourite place.
"I like doing this as well" Dan says.
"Doing what?"
Dan kisses your cheek softely and rubs his nose against yours.
"That."
"Dan?"
"Yeah?"
"I love you"
"(y/n)?"
"Yeah Dan?"
"I love you too"
