She grew up outside of Seabrook in a colony of vampires (not the ones we see in the show, I like to think that groups of monsters live in other parts of the world). She was the only half breed in her colony, not that she minded.
She studied a few hobbies and taught herself to play a few instruments, her favourite being the violin.
However, after things became dangerous when a group of hunters got involved, Verity and her parents fled and moved to Seabrook (this would be after the end of zombies 3, when it shows all sorts of creatures are welcome).
