*Val POV*
I barged into ghastly's office, to see him comforting skul. "He's here!" I breath, hearing their relieved sighs. "Jack! Are you ok?" Skul yells, running over. Jack nods, reaching out for him. "Daddy why was mummy crying?" He whispers, making me frown. "I...I fell." I state, getting a nod in return. "Don't ever run away again!" Skul snapped, but hugged Jack tighter. He nodded, snuggling into skulduggerys neck. "I'm sorry daddy" he mumbled, making skul sighed. "It's fine... I just don't want to lose you..." He whispered. I could hear ghastly in the background, listening in but on the phone to Saracen and go in him updated. "Yes, he's here.... Skulls ok, he doesn't remember anything though.... He's not in a good mental state at the moment... I know..... Ok, bye" ghastly hung up, me turning back to skulduggery. "Jack? Can i talk to daddy for a minute?" I whisper, helping him down. He nods, run in to ghastly. Ghastly smiles warmly at me, as I mouths thankyou. I grab skulls hand, dragging him outside. I go behind the building, immediately hugging him. "Val, I'm so so sorry.... I... I don't know what happened... Vile was just talking and then.." He whispered, crushing me to his chest. I nod, leanin up and lovingly kissing him. "It's over now, I'm here okay?.... Why didn't you tell me the depression came back?" I whispered, making him sigh. "I don't know.... It's stup-" "Your feelings aren't stupid, skul. Your important okay? Especially to me and Jack. I don't know what I would do without you.."I sobbed, hugging him tighter. "Just.... Talk to me!" I cried, as he tried to soothe me. He slowly nodded, as I grabbed his hand. "I love you, okay?" I mumbled, the cold reaching my rosy cheeks. Skul seemed to notice, as he stroked my cheek, warming it up. "I love you to" he stated, keeping me next to his side as we walked slowly back inside.
