Warnings: self-hate

I don't know why she hates me or

Why it is only me

Who she seems to terrorize

With such vicious glee

"Your outfit is so ugly, dear,"

She gives a hollow laugh

"Apologies—the outfit's fine—

You're just shaped like a calf."

"Do you even exercise?

How'd you miss this mistake?

Why's your hair look like a nest?

Do you deserve a break?"

The insults just go on and on

With no relief in sight

No one can even tell that I

Am dealing with this plight

For how could I ever admit

Or make somebody see

That of eight billion people I'm

My own worst enemy
