Tragedy: Avengers X Yn (Reader)

Chapter 17: Project Insight pt.1

As we were driving I receive a call from Nat. I answered it.

Me: "Wassup"

Nat: "Y/n it's bad"

Me: "Nat what's going on"

Nat: "We almost out of time insight is launching in 16 hours if you gonna do something we gotta do it now."

Me: 16 hours!!? I thought we had 4 days left

Nat: "They know you're on to them they speeding things up now that they know they have competition."

Me: "Who's of the avengers in town right now?"

Nat: "Sam, Thor, Wanda and Clint"

Me: "Where's everyone else, Tony?"

Nat: "SHIELD sent them out on missions"

Me: "Can't they come back?"

Nat: "Not without Exposing us all"

Me: "So we're gonna have to do without them, Gear up, Were coming.

I hang up and whisper to Steve what Nat just told me. He just mumbles under his breath looking defeated.

"Hey.....we got this" I whispered to him and he gave me a slight nod and smile.

"My question is why are we taking him with us Scott asks and side eyes Sitwell from the rear view mirror"

We'll use him to bypass the DNA scans and access the Helicarriers directly.

Jasper Sitwell: What?! Are you crazy? That is a terrible, terrible idea-

Suddenly the Winter Soldier lands on the car roof, pulls Sitwell out through the window and throws him into the oncoming traffic, killing him, he then starts shooting at them until Steve pulls the break handle making the Winter Soldier drop down onto the street, as another car smashes into our car and pushes us along, the Winter Soldier jumps back onto our car, smashes through the windscreen and pulls out the steering wheel

Scott: "Shit!"

I start shooting at him but the Winter Soldier jumps onto the vehicle behind us, as the our car is being pulled off the road Steve holds on to the car door

Steve: "Hang on!"

He breaks open the door, holding onto Me and Scott , then we slide on the car door through the streets. The Winter Soldier is joined by HYDRA agents and they start shooting at us

"Really just great" I said getting my gun and sending shots straight through their heads

We eventually scatter and run off in different directions with the Winter Soldier shooting at Me but I manage to aim for his goggles and shoot him in his eye goggle mask so he can't see for a while, so I run off and help Scott.

Winter Soldier: она моя, я позабочусь о ней, найди его (She's mine. I'll take care of her. Find him.)

The Winter Soldier goes in pursuit me as the Hydra agents go after Steve and Scott who both manage to fend them off as they shoot at them, Steve then notices the Winter Soldier looking for me and he knows he's gonna get to me soon.

"Go, I got this!" Scott shouts at Steve before shrinking and kicking ass

I'm getting the civilians to leave the scene and get as far away as possible. The winter soldier spots me and is about to approach me but gets attacked by Steve.

Punches and kicks are exchanged between them and then Steve is knocked down. As the winter soldier approaches Steve for his final blow I run up to him and picking up Steve's shield on the way and Block his punch.
