(17) So close yet so far

Taehyung and Jungkook were sitting on table waiting for Jungkook's friend.

Tae let out a sigh before turning his head towards the bunny guy sitting besides him.

"So? Where is your friend?"

Jungkook smiled nervously

"He....He'll be here in a minute"

Taehyung moved his gaze away from jungkook towards the entrance.

"That's what you said 5 minutes ago"

He mumbled

"You said something?"

Jungkook asked confused to which Tae just shook his head.

As they were waiting, Taehyung's phone suddenly rang.

He answered the call

"Hello?"

Tae frowned when he couldn't hear what the other person was talking about.

He moved the phone away from his ear, Looking at it and placed it near his ear again.

"Network problem I guess."

Jungkook spoke and Tae glanced at him, Giving him a nod before standing up and walking out of the restaurant.

Jimin finally reached at the restaurant.

"Seoul's traffic is just terrible"

Jimin said while looking for money to pay for the cab.

"Come on Chimmy"

They got out of the cab as Jimin held Taemin's hand while crossing the road.

"Hello? Mr. Yoon? "

Taehyung took a deep breath as he was already frustrated and the network problem was just adding into his anger.

"Mist...ki, I....Meet...delay"

Tae frowned, trying to understand his words

"You want me to delay today's meeting?"

He asked

"Ye..."

Taehyung looked in another direction, Clenching his jaw.

This guy is seriously playing around with him. This is the third time he is delaying the meeting.

He rubbed his temples, still looking in another direction, Trying to ease his anger.

Jimin looked at the name of the restaurant.

"This is it...Let's go chim"

Jimin smiled at his son who looked really excited to meet jungkook.

They went in not caring about their surroundings.

As they got in, Taemin spotted Jungkook waving towards them.

"Kookie uncle!"

Taemin ran towards where Jungkook was.

Kook got up from his seat and kneel down on one knee.

The little boy immediately hugged him, giggling.

They broke apart and jungkook grinned.

"Thank you kookie uncle"

Taemin said causing the other male to pinch his cheeks

"What for"

He asked with a pout.
