Osas p.o.v

I was in the living room with Boma and Asta when Ola came.

We were both watching SpongeBob SquarePants. It was a cartoon that even in my age I still enjoyed.

"Good evening Aunty Ola" Boma greeted as he he took Asta to his room.

I had gone with him to switch on the tv and connected to an Anime series

The kid has to start watching Anime.

"Hey." I avoided Ola eyes. Guilt eating me up.

"I wanted to apologize for my-"

"I kissed Rasaq." I cut her short." I kissed Rasaq. I shouldn't have and you have all right to hate me all you want" I continued still avoiding her gaze.

It felt like hours before Ola spoke." Thanks for telling me but I already know."

I snapped my gaze at her. Confused." How?."

"Rasaq told me. He said he kissed you and you had broken it off."

"I'm really sorry Ola. I know I have be-"

"I'm the one ought to be apologizing." She cut me short." I treated you badly."

"But that doesn't give me the right to kiss your man."

She sighed." Osas. I'm over it. I totally deserved it. Now let me finish before you interrupt."

I closed my mouth slowly.

"Dad told me you always envied me because of all I had but here I was blind to notice the good things I had and I got selfish. I had a sister who looked up to and what I did in return was rain insults down at her-"

"You can't really blame yourself Ola. I was partly responsible for your mom's -"

"No you weren't. You were not the one driving Osas. It's not your fault and I'm sorry for insisting you were." Truth screamed from Ola's tone.

"I'm really sorry Osas. Can you ever forgive me."

Before I knew it I was in her arms hugging her tightly. " Of course I forgive you Ola. Your my sister even though we're aren't flesh and blood."

Tears were rolling down our face. Ruth will be surprised when I tell all this.

"Rasaq proposed to me." Ola flashed me a bright diamond ring and I squealed.

"Oh my gawd!!." I admired the ring." It's so pretty."

"I want you to handle my wedding." She said.

I smiled." Since I was planning of quitting event planning ,your wedding will be my last." I said.

"Your quitting?".

"It's stressful but Anna would be taking over from me."

"What about cooking?."

"Oh no. I can't give up on that." I said and she laughed.

"So what's been going on in your love life?." She winked at me.

I explained everything to her." I suspected you liked him." She said. " Oh no!."

"What?." I asked as her face grew from horror to embarrassment.

"I think I have did something awful." She said.

"What?." I asked

"I had chatted Zina, his fiance and told her that you and Seyi had slept together in the same room."

What!.

"It's not a big deal." I said instead

"It's not?." She looked shocked at my reaction.

"Yeah. You were angry with me at the moment. If I was in your shoes I would have probably done the same."

"Why do you forgive easily?."

I shrugged." It's just part of me I guess."

"Micheal told me you were fired." I said wanting to change the topic.

Later I'll bother about that.

"Yeah. But I think I and Mr Solape are being framed."

"By who?."

"I really don't know." She mused.

She explained what had happened.

"And you don't remember telling him to go home ?."

She shook her head. " And the CCTV footage for that night and for some other times are missing."

"Why not try recovering it ?."

She blinked." Recovering?."

"Yeah. I know a guy who can help with that
You can recover the footage even when wiped."

Her eyes flushed with relief and gratitude. " Thank you Osas "

"Also have you ever considered the security guard being bribed."

"Bribed?."

"This is Nigeria Ola. Money can make a person turn a truth to a lie."

Someone's P.o.v

"Hello Sulieman."

"Madam Ola came to my house today."

"To do what?."

"She came to demand the truth from me."

"And what do you tell her?."

"That she must have been busy with work to realise what she said."

"And she seemed to buy it ?."

"Yes sir."

"Good work."

"Sir do I get-" I disconnected the call.

We needed to initiate our next plan.

I dialed a number." Hello."

I explained everything.

"I see."

"What should we do?."

"We'll release the video this night and for Ola if she gets close to the truth the best and only thing is to eliminate her"

"Eliminate as in... Kill." I swallowed.

"You have a better Idea?"

"I suppose not." I said.

"Good " he disconnected the call.

Eliminate Ola?.

I hope it won't lead to that.

Nonso p.o.v

"I want you to find any dirt on this guy" I pointed to a picture of Michael.

I had hired a private investigator.

It was time to start making my move. Few days from now Osas will learn the truth about me and for Rasaq...

He had gotten over Osas... Luckily. But Seyi.

Who was this guy and how come I have never seen him. I was told that he stayed in the hospital with Osas all through the night.

It was me that was meant to be by her side. Not a stranger!!.

I will have to look out for this Seyi even if it means death.
