Kylie POV

The fresh breeze of Canada hit my face as I exited the airport. I changed my mind last minute and here I was in Canada waiting for my mom to come pick me up.

I had enough and I couldn't take anymore so I decided to leave.

I knew I was not strong enough to look him in the eyes after what he did.

I knew the hurtful words that he said would replay in my head when I saw his face.

"My baby," I heard my mom's voice from behind.

I turned around to see my mom approaching me with a huge smile on her beautiful face.

"Ma.." I said as tears filled my eyes.

I ran to her and flung my arms around her this was what I needed a hug from the most comforting person I knew.

"It okay baby," She rubbing my back.

"I didn't tell her what happened so probably she thinks I just miss her.

I do miss her but I'm also heartbroken.

"Let's go," I said releasing her.

"OK darling," She took the bag as I pulled the suitcase

When we reached our home town I couldn't help but smile at all the memories that came rushing back.

When I saw our house tears ran down my face. I remember how run down and old our house was before I migrated.

But I made sure to fix it as soon as I started to make money thanks to Antonio.

After a couple of months of working as a maid. I had the money that could buy I new three-bedroom home.

When I suggested it to my mom she disagreed without a second thought.

The fact that my mom wanted to stay in this house because it had so many memories made my heart warm.

So I sent money to refurbish the house and also brought modern items.

My mom parked the car in the drive way then we both got out. My mom went inside to start cooking.

I took the time to walk around the house observing every change with a huge smile.

After that I entered the house and what I saw brought tears to my eyes.

"Mom," I said in a shaky voice.

"It's okay baby take a tour, I'm super proud of you," She said with a genuine smile.

I walked into the living area and I couldn't help the tears that ran down my face after observing the space I walked up the stairs.

I entered my little brother's room door and couldn't help but smile.
