Twin That Lost One

Once a pair, so close in heart, Two souls that never could drift apart. But fate, unkind, cast its shadow's hand, And took one twin to a distant land.

A bond so deep, an unbreakable tie, Now broken by a tearful goodbye. In the void left behind, an echoing ache, A solitary heart, a twin's heartbreak.

Memories linger like a bittersweet song, Of laughter and love that once belonged. A half of a whole, now missing and lost, A heavy price that fate has cost.

Yet the spirit of the lost twin lives on, In whispered breezes, in the dawn. A presence felt, though unseen by eye, A guardian angel in the sky.

The surviving twin walks a path of two, Carrying memories, both old and new. In every step, a shadow's embrace, Guided by the twin in a distant space.

Though separated by life's unyielding tide, Love and connection forever abide. One twin in heart, in memories engraved, A bond unbroken, even though the grave.
