I step off of the boat in Zaun, arriving at my car that I left right at the dock.
It's over... we did it.
I hand the rifle back to Jinx; she puts it in her car.
Jinx: So, what happens next?
Y/N: What happens is... forgetting this ever happened.
Jinx: Y/N, you're a worldwide hero.
Y/N: Don't care.
Jinx: We gotta celebrate!
Y/N: I really just... want to go home... is that so bad?
Jinx: No... it isn't.
She puts her arm around me, still wearing the bunny suit.
Y/N: Hm.
Jinx: You're finally safe, none of your past life is ever gonna come back, and here I was... betting with my sister to see if you'd die or not.
Y/N: What?
Jinx: I-I have to come clean...
Y/N: You little rascal!
Jinx: I know...
She takes her bunny ears off, tossing them in the water.
Jinx: Goodbye sweet Barret...
Y/N: What are you- Why?!
She tosses the 50 Cal into the water.
Jinx: We don't want anything coming back to us...
Y/N: I don't think anything will. But... if we're throwing stuff out.
I take out my Pit Viper.
Still fires true, Jinx-ified and everything.
I even keep the suppressor with my wallet, and that's going too.
I toss the suppressor into the water, making Jinx gasp.
Jinx: No... you're not...
Y/N: I think I am, Jinx, I'm not killing myself again, and this gun provides nothing but safety problems. This is a sign... of me... ditching the life I had before and moving onto the next step.
Jinx: And what is that?
Y/N: Normal.
Jinx: You're insane.
Y/N: Yep.
Jinx: Then at least give me the gun.
Y/N: Fair enough.
I pretend to give it to her.
Y/N: Woops my hand slipped!
*SPLASH!*
Pit Viper is now gone... sinking to the bottom of the water.
This is where my past life belonged, buried deep, gone, left behind like it should've always been.
And now... I finally have that chance to make it true.
Jinx: YOU ASSHOLE!!! NO!!! It was in such good shape too... UGH!!!
Y/N: Next time, maybe don't bet on your best friend's life with your stepsister.
Jinx: *Sigh* I hate you...
Y/N: Love you too, girl. Not in the weird way.
I hug her, disregarding whatever she's wearing.
