"What?" Rory questions me.
We were walking down the hallway at school and Rory still had her cast on.
I was joking with her saying that she was tilting because of it.
"Are you tilting?" I ask
"No." Rory states
"I think you're tilting." I repeat
"I'm not tilting." Rory denies
"Do you wanna hold onto my bag? Might even You out." I joke
"Stop any time you like. What are you doing?" Rory questions as I put my hand in my bag.
"I'm gonna put a pen on your head and see if it rolls off." I say
"Okay. See this is not how you console the injured." Rory points out
"You're right. I'm sorry. What about this?" I pull out a book.
"'The little locksmith!'" Rory exclaims
"I got it at the bookstore. I saw it and knew you wanted it." I explain. "I even paid full price."
"Thank you."
"You're welcome. Feel better?" I ask
"I do." Rory states
"Good. Now can I put a pen on top of your head?"
"No. Tori..." Rory begins
"Oh, good. Hold still." I command as I go to get a pen out of my bag.
"Forget the pen."
"Drat." I mutter
"When are you gonna tell headmaster Charleston about the pregnancy?" Rory asks
"As a matter of fact, today, after school. We booked a meeting with him a couple of days ago. Tristan will come after school." I justify
"Everything will Go Fine, okay?" Rory tells me. I think she could tell I was nervous about it.
"I hope so." I look at her nervously and look back at the ground.
"Victoria, Tristan, come in." Headmaster Charleston welcomes us into his office.
"Thank you headmaster Charleston." I say as we sit down.
"So, what is it you wanted to speak about?"
"We found something out recently and we — okay, actually, no, I am just gonna keep it really simple." I state
"Okay. Well, whenever you want to, you can say it."
"Okay, umm." I pause and take Tristan's hand in mine. "I'm pregnant again."
"Well, congratulations tori, Tristan." Headmaster Charleston says
"Thank you sir." Tristan replies
"So, what about school?" I question
"Well, I think We'll do what we did last time. You can continue to come to school, when it comes to you being full term, you can go onto maternity leave. After it's born, Tristan, you can have a couple of weeks off, and tori you can have 5 months off. You will catch up on school work at home." Headmaster Charleston explains
"And you're not worried about the school's reputation with this?"
"You two have two babies at home and still manage to keep up your grades. Tori, you still have a 3.9 gpa. The same as when you came to this school. That's impressive." He continues
