"Look who's here!" Grandpa exclaims as he comes through.

Just then a man and woman walk in, I'm guessing straub and Francine.

"Hello mother, pop." Dad greets them

"Christopher." Straub says and shakes dads hand.

"Christopher, hello." Francine states and fiddles with dads tie.

"Mr and Mrs Hayden, long time no see." Mom tells them.

"Lorelai. You look well." Francine says

"I a-am, thanks. You remember the girls, Rory and Tori. You haven't seen them in a while." Mom replies

"I think they were just beginning to speak in complete sentences." Francine explains

"So not for two years then." Mom states awkwardly. "They've obviously been talking a long time, so I was making a humorous comment, sometimes referred to as a joke."

"I see you haven't changed, Lorelai." Straub comments

"No, not at all."

"Rory, Tori, hello." Francine says to us

"Hi." I reply

"Hi." Rory says and curtsied to them. Mom and me slightly laughed at her.

"Do you just curtsy?" I whispers

"Shut up." She commands

"Sorry, milady." I joke and mom high fives me, quietly.

"Uh, Straub, Francine, how about a martini." Grandpa changes the subject.

"Please."

"Well, Straub, how is retirement treating you?" Grandpa asks

"Yes. Do tell us about the Bahamas." Grandma says

"You can get an entire island there for the cost of a decent house here." Straub explains. "How about you Richard? Any thoughts of retirement crossing your mind?"

"Oh, Straub, if only you could talk him into it. I've given up." Grandma laughs

"We're very pleased about Christopher's business success out in California." Grandpa states

"Yes, it's taken quite a while, but it seems to be finally coming together. Seems to be."

"Christopher, your tie, please." Francine pleads

"Straub and Fran- Mr and Mrs- umm, are you enjoying your time here, um, you two." Rory says nervously and I take her hand to reassure her.

"That she got from you." Dad whispers to mom.

"How old are you two?" Straub asks us

"16." We reply

"Very dangerous age for girls. I see you have already followed in your mothers footsteps." Straub says and rolls his eyes as I look down.

"Rory and Tori are very special girls. Excellent students, both very bright." Grandma tells them

"You should have a talk with them. Together, they could give you a run for your money." Grandpa continues

"Is that so?"

"That's right." Grandma confirms and an awkward silence occurs.

"I think my money is safe." Straub states

"I hate president Bush!" Mom exclaims randomly.

"What?" Straub questions

"Lorelai..." grandma warns
