A/N: So, I don't know if you have noticed, but I didn't do episode 7 because I didn't know how to add Tori to the storyline. It was about Rory and Lorelai being told they had to be more social around the school community. However, Tori already is. Meaning, I had nothing to add.

"How's the meal?" Grandma asks us.

"Very tasty. New cool?" Mom questions back

"Yes, Maricella. She's introduced us to some wonderful dishes so charmingly specific to her native country." Grandma responds

"What county is she from?"

"One of those little ones next to Mexico." Grandma replies

"How charmingly specific." Mom refers to grandma earlier response.

"Too bad grandpa isn't here." Rory adds

"Yeah, he likes weird food." I speak up

"Where's he eating his weird food tonight — Argentina? Morocco?" Mom guesses

"Akron." Grandma explains

"Ohio?" Me and Rory ask at the same time.

"Yes."

"Get out of here!" Mom exclaims, shocked.

"I will not get out of here!" Grandma defends herself.

"No, I didn't mean really 'get out of here.' I mean—" mom begins

"—Why is grandpa in Akron?" Rory questions, cutting off mom.

"I don't know."

"It's just a saying." Mom finishes her sentence that Rory cut her off from.

"They sent him to deal with some problem with their local office." Grandma explains

"A saying, like 'save me' or 'get me out of here.' Things like that." Mom continues

"Lorelai, would you like me to put a mirror in front of you so you can look at yourself when you have this conversation?"

"Sorry. Dads in Akron..."

"Yes. The amenities are atrociously lacking. He had to eat at a coffee shop last night. The whole things insulting. He's miserable." Grandma tells us

"I hate that he's miserable." Rory states

"So do I. We really ought to do something." Grandma

"Yes, I agree." I speak up, agreeing with Rory and grandma. I pick up Charlie from her car seat as she needed feeding a bottle. The twins were now 4 months old. It had gone so quickly.

"Warning, warning!" Mom exclaims but we ignore her.

"I'm glad to hear you say that girls, because I thought of a wonderful way to cheer him up." Grandma states

"Cool. What?"

"Danger, will Robinson, danger!" Mom continues to warn us.

"An oil portrait of you two for his study." Grandma smiles

"An oil portrait?" I repeat, knowing why mom was warning us.

"I tried. Have fun." Mom shrugs

"It could hang right over his Mantel. He would just love it." Grandma explains

"I guess that would be okay." Rory agrees as she looks at me.

"Aw, mom, please, don't do this to them." Mom tells grandma.

"Rory just said they would." Grandma points out.

"Fine, paint the picture. But don't make them sit and pose. Paint it from a photo. We've got loads of photos of them together." Mom tries to persuade grandma.
