"Man is it cold out there." Mom tells us as we enter grandma and grandpa's house.

"Yeah, yes freezing." I agree

"We'll, come on in. Sit by the fire." Grandma suggests. "I'll make you all a drink, then we can talk."

"About what?" Rory asks

"Antennas up." Mom whispers to us.

I was slightly behind them as I was still hopping using the crutches. I get the cast off in a couple of weeks now.

"Aye, aye, captain." Me and Rory mutter back.

"So, Lorelai, how are you?" Grandma questions mom

"Uh, I'm fine, mom." Mom responds as she sits down, dropping the Charlie and miss car seats too.

"Rory?" Grandma asks

"I'm fine, too, grandma." Rory explains

"Tori?"

"I'm fine, thank you grandma." I reply

"And the girls?" Grandma questions

"They're fine."

"How are you, mom?" Mom asks grandma

"Also fine."

"Look at that — all six of us fine, just like the judds." Mom points out

"So, Lorelai, are you dating anyone?" Grandma questions mom

"Hmm... no, I'm not... dating." Mom stutters

"Really? There's no one at all?

"No, I'm totally single." Mom confirms

"Any chance you'll get back with max?" Grandma continues

"No, mom, there's no chance."

"What about the man at the diner who refuses to shave?" Grandma refers to Luke.

"Luke? He's just a Friend, mom." Mom explains

"Do you think you'll be single your entire life?"

"Excuse me?" Mom asks, quite taken aback.

"I mean in terms of your finding someone. What do you think the odds are?" Grandma questions. What was with all the questions tonight?

"Okay, what is going on?"

"Well, I visited the family mausoleum today." Grandma begins

"Never what you think it's gonna be." Mom states

"I just wanted to check on things, make sure they were keeping it up, changing the flowers." Grandma continues

"Uh-huh."

"So I went inside and looked around, and uh occurred to me that there's a very limited space there. Now, of course there's a slot open for me and Richard and you, Rory and Tori. But after the three of you, that's it — no more room. So if you actually do meet someone someday, I don't know where to put him." Grandma finishes

"Well, maybe we could dump him at the local pool hall." Mom jokes

"Don't be silly." Grandma warns

"This is definitely not a conversation for that." Mom smiles at us

"I looked into expanding into the crypt next door, but the family that owns it wouldn't even discuss it." Grandma tells us

"I'm getting a little creeped out here." Rory speaks up
