A/n: I didn't mention it in the last chapter, but Tristan has officially moved into the garage with tori now.

"So then he starts ripping my $20 bill into a million pieces and I'm thinking to myself, 'there is a store full of people. Why am I the one on line with the crazy magician?' Okay, I'll cut to the end. So, he couldn't put it back together. He had to pay me back in quarters." Mom tells a half asleep Rory and me.

"Very good story." I mumble to mom, nearly falling asleep on the table at Luke's.

"You both look tired."

"I just having been sleeping very well lately." Rory explains

"Me too." I agree

"How come?"

"I have a lot on my mind." Rory states

"Anything I can do?" Mom asks her

"Flag down the coffee."

"Arm going up now. What about you hon?" Mom questions me.

"No matter how hard I try, I can't get comfortable. Tristan is so good though. I toss and turn all night and he doesn't say anything." I yawn

"Aw, I'm so glad. He seems to be adjusting well to 'our' environment."

"Yeah. He does." I yawn again and nearly put my head on the table.

"Honey, you got to wake up." Mom commands. "Wanna play?"

"One, two, three?" Rory exclaims, excitedly.

"I'll go first." Mom states

"And... one." An old man walks by.

"Pass."

"Why?" We ask

"Because I'm not Anna Nicole smith. Next." Mom says

"Two." I say to a man skateboarding.

"Mmm, pass."

"Why?" I ask

"Because I'm not Mary Kay letourneau." Mom explains

"Okay." We agree and smile.

"What are you looking for?" Luke comes up behind us and asks.

"My new husband." Mom responds

"She's already passed up two good prospects." Rory explains

"But I'm feeling good about number three."

"Do I wanna know what you are doing?" Luke questions

"Hey, Luke came to the table. Does that make him number three?" I smirk

"No." Luke says quickly.

"You don't even know what we're doing."

"The safest answer involving the three of you is no." Luke tells us

"We're playing 'one, two, three, he's yours.'" Mom states

"I didn't ask."

"You can take the first guy that walks by, or if you pass, assuming there's somebody better, you can take the next guy that walks by. Or, if you don't take him, you're stuck with the third guy." Rory explains

"Got it?" Mom asks Luke

"I'm not playing."

"Of course, not. It's still my turn." Mom tells him.

"Okay. Guy number three is crossing the street right now." I tell mom and it happens to be Kirk.

"Why am I looking?" Luke asks himself
